  • Excellent resource while reading His Word.

I've had a MacArthur study bible for years, but this app makes it quick and easy to read, research, and better understand the Bible.

    Very easy to use
  • Illogical organization

There is no home screen. You cannot search for books easily. Cumbersome screens, crazy organization. Finding anything is nearly impossible. Generally a real disappointment as I am very familiar with John MacArthur. After several days of frustrating attempts to use this I deleted it off my iPad. The glo bible is far superior so don't waste your money on this.
  • Not ready for prime time

I’ve given this app one star not because of its content, but because it’s poorly written with confusing instructions that don’t even pertain to this particular app. Tecarta support was no help and referred me to on line instructions that were not applicable. I finally got it to work with a lot of trial and error. Any study Bible should be easy to use and navigate and especially this one since it also contains Dr. John MacArthur’s study notes. There was no easy way to go from one Bible book to another nor was I able to at first line up the study notes with the Bible verses. I recommend not purchasing this app until Tecarta does more work on it making it easy to navigate and use. For now save your money and purchase something that works.
  • goto Bible app for English language study

excellent organization of bookmarks and personal notes. good selection of Study Bibles. only needs some simple original language resources, e.g., a Greek New Testament (tagged or untagged to Strong's and/or morphology) and a Hebrew Old Testament (similarly tagged or untagged). Plain Greek or Hebrew texts are acceptable as well. just don't want to have to turn to Logos and/or Accordance for my original language texts.
