No price history in this app!
  • Helpful app but clunky

    By Llbrenner
I purchased the plus version of this app and within the first week got a lightening deal to save on some face cream that essentially paid for the app. The deal was only available for an hour first thing in the morning so without the plus version, I would have missed it (my understanding of the free version is that they only check for price changes once a day). I’ll be thrilled if I can catch my cat’s food at a lower price. Having said that, EVERY time I use this app I get frustrated with it. I have it on my phone and have tried for my iPad but it doesn’t recognize that I have the plus version there. I hit “restore purchase” and the screen doesn’t change. I hit “settings” and literally the only thing that allows me to set is my email address. Maddening. We’ll see if customer support replies. Yesterday I was trying to access price history and could not find it anywhere. I finally read in the reviews that it’s accessed through the “share” button. Why?? So overall this is clunky and not user friendly. I’ll see whether it improves this year to decide whether to renew. It has the potential to be great but at the moment I kind of hate it.
  • Can’t restore purchase

Had the upgraded version on my iPhone that broke. Got new phone and the app will not restore my purchase. Waste of money now.
  • This didn't work for me

I really wanted this to work for a couple Kindle books I'd been looking at, but every single time I got an alert (multiple times a day and sometimes multiple times an hour) it was a false alarm :(
  • Still issues

App pays for itself with one alert. I’ll be paying for this app forever, or at the very least, till another more stable app comes out which does the same thing. I say stable because this app is all over the place. I have Steve Gadd nylon drumsticks as an alert and I saw a $10.99 alert, probably 4 times today alone. Each time the price on Amazon was still $13.99. So why all the alerts if the item doesn’t decrease one penny. Not just this item. Same with Nest thermostats. Holy man, alerts galore with no price increases. Was hoping the update would fix this. Still, this app pays for itself. Wish it was more stable
  • Work in progress

Really want this to work as an alternative to camelcamelcamel but it’s just not ready. Camel has price history on items that this app does not, as well as the impossible task of importing your wishlist into this app.

Wouldn’t let me restore my purchase after having switched phones. I even emailed the developer before purchasing the Plus Package, asking why it read “$3.99 Good for one year” and they replied, “I wouldn’t worry about that. Your purchase does not expire.”... Yeah right.
  • Not able to restore my lists

By Another user for this app
I’ve bought the app and had my lists for few months and now all lists are gone and I can’t restore my purchase to recreate new lists. I’ve emailed the support center but no reply. I’ve sent another email today and hope I get a reply or a refund.
  • Poor implementation

Search function needs to be fixed. 1. You can’t see what you are typing. The keyboard completely covers the entry line. 2. There is no way to x-out your previous search and you couldn’t see it anyway because the keyboard covers everything. 3. You can’t search on product number. You have to enter full text name of the item to find it. 4. Does not play well with the Amazon app, should be seamless, but isn’t.
  • Great Idea, Mediocre Execution

The app is fairly simple but to make it useful, you need to buy the professional for $4 a year in app. This would definitely be worth it if the app was always dependable. I have already in several occasions tried to add a product with the error “Connection cannot be established try again later”. Considering money is paid for this service, this is very annoying. When it works, it’s very useful.
