    I’ve been through several workout apps and have fallen short of using them after about 2-3 days. I quit because the app is either not user friendly in a gym environment ( logging takes too long and is better for later) or it requires too much thinking to create and make workouts. Fitbod has a very user friendly system. It designs workouts that are reasonable and cover all muscle groups. It is easy and simple to put in the weight you lifted and log between sets. I was a seasoned division 1 college athlete and this app is very similar to having a strength and conditioning coach in your phone (motivational talk excluded so bring a workout buddy). I’m back to lifting the amount I was in college and couldn’t be happier with my training designed by fitbod.

    I’ve been through so many workout apps. My requirements: 1. Let me define my goals 2. Let me define my available equipment and time 3. Don’t make me make decisions 4. Track my muscle recovery automatically I’ve never found an app that did all of these things, until Fitbod. I don’t have to think about which exercises to do — which is good, because I’m a beginner and don’t know how to plan good workouts! I don’t have to worry about muscle recovery. I don’t have to replace exercises for which I don’t have the equipment. I just boot the app, do the sets, and get on with my day. Finally! Worth every penny of the subscription fee.

    I pay for the subscription because it’s honestly a steal. Super customizable and at the price for what you get, and it’s comparable to a personal trainer. I stopped just short of 5 stars for only one reason. While the app estimates your one rep max there is no way to manually input a 1 rep max often resulting in recommended weights that are way under what you are capable of. YOU CAN MANUALLY CHANGE THE WEIGHT so it’s not that big of a deal, but I would love to be able to record my actual 1RM and get an automatic recommendation based on a percentage. For example if I can 1RM 130 pound preacher curls, in the setting I can change the percentage 70 percent the recommended weight would be 91, and for my 200 1RM deadlift would be 140. It would really add a ton of convenience as well as a 5th star to my review. Other than this small thing this app is WELL worth the subscription cost!

    It’s the best workout app ever!!! It programs your workouts for you and takes all the guess work out of what do I do in the gym. It has different workout styles and a community of people to help you meet your fitness needs. Worth every penny and cheaper and better than any personal trainer on the market!!!

    Good app like how you can chose the body parts you want to work out. Also customize the work out too but I wish they had more exercises for each body part. Also use more machine and hammer strength exercises.

    I love this app. It's helped me take my workouts to another level, and I currently enjoy the yearly subscription. My biggest complaint is about a bug. Regardless what target muscle groups I select for my next workout, the app will always include quadriceps. It's annoying but doesn't always affect my workout.

    I would like to say this is a great app with a great concept and a platform for amazing potential. I’d like to give my suggestions to the FitBod team and hope that this reaches you guys so you can hopefully implement it. First off I’d recommend to not become like other apps and let this app leave to dry after “making it” in the app store as one of the top fitness apps, there’s so much more potential and features you can give to really raise your brand! So please don’t give up on supporting it! Here are my suggestions: 1. Sharing workouts with friends, ability to do the same workout with a friend at the same time (maybe do it based on account to account connection via a “friends” option in the app or strava) 2. Maybe set a group of workouts in the app for the weak based on a certain personalization, so for example you’d have a group of friends that you can select and the creator of the group or each person can choose the specific personalization, then the app will personalize the workout for the week for the whole group, so that way as friends we can motivate each other from afar if we can’t workout together while at the same time doing the same workout. this can create competition, share scores, keep friends, spouses, siblings, co-workers accountable for each other. 3. When I have more ideas i’ll make sure to come and re-edit my post, overall great app and good simplicity. It’s motivated me to workout on my own more as i’m the type of person that needs a friend to workout with

    Great app for beginner and expert. The exercises are spaced out where you don’t get bored, the descriptions and videos are outstanding. I also enjoy the recovery graphic showing what’s fresh and how long since. I’ve been looking for an app like this, so glad they developed it!
