The automatic workout generator is excellent, the interface is gorgeous, and certain key features like the easy substitution of one exercise for another and the ability to customize recovery percentages are truly brilliant." “Great for Beginners too! Love the Fitbod app, it has helped me so much in my workouts and development. Was stuck for years around 15% body fat and doing the same workout. After using the app for 2-3 months, went to 10% body fat and doing so many different things during the workout. Thank you so much for this app." Website: Instagram: Twitter: Facebook: Privacy Policy: Terms of Use:

Woot woot! Gym Profiles is a killer feature for me. Love the app!
  • Good app

    By olteran23
I really like this app! Most of the time I already know what I'm going to do for my training so I use to track yet it's really nice to be offered a variety of exercises to keep training fun. However, I do have two cons: 1. Missing a lot of different exercises ex: underhand cable pull downs, front lateral raises, etc. 2. As someone else has mentioned, it would be awesome if there was a cardio section/option. Edit: although these edits have been made you now how to pay for target muscles in the latest update, it use to be free I am now moving on to another app.
  • One of the best

I have used more than 10 fitness apps. This one tells me which muscles need to be worked and which ones need rest. I like how it learns my weights and increases as needed. Apple watch works great. Updates are steady and adding new features. Update 11/22/17 - A new update allows you to save different workout plans. I travel extensively, this allows to me Save a workout plan for hotel equipment and have a workout plan for my home gym. They continue to update and improve. Awesome
  • Fantastic app

I heard about this app from a personal trainer, and looked more into it. I fell in love with it fast and the price, unbeatable. I got quoted 350 a month to have a personal trainer, then I found this and saved more than imaginable. I can create my own workouts and if I don’t know how to do something, the gifs on the app show exactly how to. Great app!

  • Love this app!!!! 💪🏼

I love to workout but I never know exactly what to do at the gym. I have tried many other apps to try and aid me in reaching my fitness goals but this app did the trick! You can choose which muscle group you’d like workout, how to preform the exercises and alternative workouts to each exercise Incase you aren’t a fan of that specific workout. Right now I’m on the intermediate level and I feel as if every workout has new exercises targeting another muscle. I would highly recommend this app to anyone who enjoys the gym or wishes to improve their bodies but just don’t know how to.
  • Great, could be greater

Great app. The only thing is that I wish it would track progress in terms of weight lifted per exercise and display it on a graph just so I can see my progress.
  • Not great for custom workouts

    By Squatchface
My two star review comes from how buggy this thing can be and how incomplete it is for somebody who wants to customize their workouts instead of using a generated one. Seriously, this thing crashes at least once per session. They removed the ability to set a custom rest timer and when they did have it, changing the time would sometimes reset your entire workout plan! There’s no support for super-sets. The monthly price is too high for something this unreliable and the lack of improvements to the above issues in the two months I’ve used it have made it clear a year subscription isn’t worth the commitment. Think I’m done with it after this next month expires. All that being said, the UI looks great, the Strava integration is neat, and the exercise catalog is one of the more complete ones I’ve seen in a fitness app. Videos and instructions are really handy when working on your form. The design of the app saves it from being a one star in my mind.
  • Not for advanced lifters, save your money

    By Marvelous89
Love the variety and the no guess work when hitting the gym! Loving it so far. Hate that I had to pay for it, but $40 for the year isn’t bad. Advance category needs the incorporation of supersets. UPDATE: after using the paid version of this app for about a month, it’s quite useless for an advanced lifter looking to body build. The app does let you select your experience and goal setting, but it’s real trivial stuff, blew my mind when I finished one exercise to go to another and I was recommended to do “push ball press” for 11 reps? -_-, such an extremely useless exercise in bodybuilding. There’s no supersets. traps, cavs and forearms are not incorporated in workouts under the “bodybuilding” category, only if you select “general fitness” will they include “accessory muscles” in your workouts, otherwise you have to add these muscle groups in yourself. Sometimes it’s nice going in the gym and having a workout laid out for you, but it’s really nothing I couldn’t have done on my own. Not worth it for an advanced lifter, save your money, I wish I would have. How Can I got about getting a refund?
