    I’ve been using this app for some time now and never have I been bored. Each workout is unique and the constant push between PR’s and new goals that this app sets for you is grade A.

  • Don't expect Strava to work

    As much as I hoped this app would be good, it isn't. The strava integration is horrible and doesn't even acknowledge lap swimming. Then, if you add in cycling it MIGHT ingest it and make adjustments to recovery but the future suggested workouts are not affected. For example, setting legs to 0% recovered the next workout suggests back squat and lunge. I have encountered this repeatedly when syncing cycling from Strava. Legs toasted from cycling, fitbod suggest squat for next workout. I have tried to work with support. Waste of time and effort. The application looks good on paper but does Strava integration not execute and breaks the app. EDIT: I have sent countless screenshots and explanations to support and the problem persists. That said, support is responsive and appears to be genuinely interested in finding the fix. Solution for now DON'T SYNC STRAVA.

    If you don’t mind paying, this is a great app. I’ve purchased different apps before but are very limited. This app has great features. Besides taking the info from previous workouts and adjusting your muscle groups, it has the option to replace the work out if you would like to change it. I have a hurt shoulder so I can’t do any workouts the require anything overhead. Ex. Skull crushers. I can choose to replace that one workout with a different one that still focuses on that specific muscle. It also has demonstrations for each workout. It’s a pretty awesome app. The other app I had was the “ workout” app which was good but I could really adjust the workouts. Not as easily at least. It does have meal plans which is nice but overall not my favorite. I recommend this app. Definitely a 👍🏼.

    I really like this app. I’m not confident in the gym and this lays me out well. The videos are instructive which is extremely useful as this is my first gym membership, and if you need to you can substitute the exercise if the weights etc are not available. I also like how the app rotates muscle groups during the work out as well as next day to eliminate the “I’m too sore today” excuse. It’s making going to the gym much more enjoyable and I am maximizing my time at the gym with a plan!

    I lifted for varsity athletics a decade ago, but struggled (after a long hiatus) to develop my own focused and varied lifting regimes. Fitbod does the work for me based on a defined goal and a few user metrics. It’s like a personal trainer minus the heavy cost and with ultimate flexibility.

    It use to be free. Now they charge you $8 a month and claim they substitute a personal trainer. If it was single price like $10 I would buy it. But another monthly bill, I’ll pass

    I travel frequently. fitBod helps me stay on track with my workouts by letting me note what equipment I have available (including body weight only) and defining the appropriate workout for each muncle group.

    This is one of my first reviews ever because it's worth it. Wish it was cheaper per month because at $7/month and paying for a gym membership for $10/month, it's almost like paying for a second membership. But if you want focus, this is the app to get. UX and UI out of this world. Amazing designers.
