  • Trouble downloading shows

    I enjoy the selection of shows and movies that history vault provides, but I can’t download shows, every time I hit download on a show or movie it says waiting to download on the my list screen, I’m on the latest version of the app and IOS and it still won’t download my shows and WiFi is good, it would be a five star rating for me if I was able to download my shows.
  • Don’t waste your time it doesn’t work

    This app is useless. I downloaded and got my free subscription. However it wouldn’t ever allow me to add a password to create my account. It would, however start my “free trial” even though I can’t access the app. When I clicked “forgot password” it never let me get past that screen. Too many bugs. I don’t have time to waste trying to sign in to an app that doesn’t work. There are too many another options out there for content on apps that actually work.

    I do like history documentaries, and I see a lot a potential to this subscription but, I would like more new content like the recent added show “ two degrees: point of no return”. I love this that it was new with great definition and updated. I would also like to see shows from the history of Latin America region. I might renew my membership if I see that in the near future.

  • Stealing money this web app is criminal!!!!

    I signed up a while ago. Apparently I keep getting charged money with no way to stop. My email is not registered and I have no way to contact anyone to stop paying or get my email account. This is criminal and not cool. I trusted the history channel but as with all network tv I am disappointed!!!! Do not purchase and do not get suckered into paying for this useless channel. I have NEVER been able to log in but I have been charged for this account for years!!!!

    I Know would really enjoy this app if you didn't have to pay for it. I love watching ddocumentaries and would appreciate it if you didn't have to pay to use this app.
  • Subscription Keeps Messing Up

    At log in, I’m told I need a subscription when I already have one. On the Manage Subscriptions I can’t subscribe because I already have one. Deleting the app and reloading doesn’t fix it. If the content were updated more frequently, I’d bother with getting support involved. Sad.
  • Typical misleading trial period

    1- no cancel subscription link in the settings menu within the app like it said there would be when I signed up. 2- need to contact IN WRITING to cancel, contrary to what was said when I signed up. You know how it is to cancel in writing. 3- after contacting in writing, they sent a link to cancel via WEBSITE, NOT APP, which is broken or does not exist. Seriously? 4- TBD after them “verifying” my account didn’t exist, I sent a screenshot with my email up top. Still waiting. Watching my credit card. My trial period ends tomorrow. UPDATE: I just received a response from A&E. Please refer back to number 1 in my review and remember, that option in settings does NOT exist. Read their response prior to signing up. That’s my advise. Update squared. I have gotten 2 or 3 emails notifying me of a developer response. I don’t know why? I think it’s to satisfy App Store.
  • Not working

    Love this app. Lots of great history documentaries. The free trial showed me exactly what I wanted. when it was working it really needs a memory so you can go back to the show you were just watching. This is an expected feature that needs to be apart of the vault.
