  • Love it + welcome some needed tweaking

    By sad-pro-user
I like this app but would lije 2 tweaks: 1. fix cursor to go into input field automatically on password unlock page 2. stop serving very annoying and persistent error messages for failed online connection when using offline Hope to see these improvements while keeping a clean and simple app without clutter of useless bells and whistles!
  • Needs more fixing

I like the app, but why is it so ????For example, the heading keeps changing whenever you move to another line. And you can’t change the fonts at all.And how do you delete a note?
  • Tired of being asked to rate the app repeatedly

    By rebs 22
It’s a decent notetaking app, but I am fed up with constantly being asked to rate the app while I am using it. When I am done moving my son to college, and I no longer need my lists, I am deleting it.
  • Not friendly to use.

    By RadicalSci
When used in landscape mode, the keyboard covers more than half the screen, leaving only 1-2 lines of text visible. Switching between rich text and basic erased half the notes I had taken. Adding a sketch ...after I had carefully saved the text...inserted the drawing above the text rather than below the relevant text. Not able to customize font size to make it readable. Totally unworkable for taking notes in a lecture where one wants to switch easily between typing and drawing.
  • Piece of junk

I spent a fair amount of time inputing some information into a note. The app promptly lost the note. It just disappeared. Don’t waste your time, this app is a piece of garbage.
  • Good app, adding tags appears broken

Apps Not working for certain notes, very frustrating
  • Ability to add Reminders to Notes

    By cacofonix1
Love this app for its ability to add reminders to notes. I have used SimpleNote for a long time but miss this feature. What would be nice though is the ability to edit one’s notes via a web interface similar to SimpleNote. Add that in via a Browser extension and the ability to store it in a cloud of one’s choice and this could be a serious competitor. For additional features refer to another note taking app, Cintanotes, on the PC platform. Updated on 12/31: Having difficulty inserting images. Nothing shows up. Get message syncing. Turned of iCloud. Still have same issue. Look forward to an update to resolve these issues. Updated on 01/22: Would love to know if this app will get any updates as it has tremendous potential. I would be willing to pay for it (not a subscription model though) if all the features worked. Updated 2/3/18: App author responded to user requests to fix the photo attach feature. It works. 👍. Updated to 4 ⭐️. App name also changed. Should get more hits during searches. Updated 2/16/18: On a roll here with minor updates. Suggestion for developer. Why cant one have a notebook within a notebook? I have responsibility for multiple sites so each site is a notebook. Within a site one has multiple projects each of which has multiple tasks. I am comparing this to a directory structure where each folder/notebook can have its own sub-folders/notebooks and files/tasks. Request ability to provide direct feedback instead of posting here.
  • Photos upload not working

    By Smc7882
I’m starting to like the app. Would really appreciate if the photo upload worked. -would also like to be able to be able to “share” links from safari with extension. That would make if twice as more useful. -like the timeline feature.
  • Notepad is simple but not simplistic

    By Rbwyatt
Notepad appears to be an excellent way to organize and retrieve the unorganized bits of information, ideas, insights, and data that everyone collects every day. It accomplishes this by working with user created tags. It's easy to create one or many tags for each note. The user can then search by one or more tags to drill down to exactly what is being looked for. This approach is so much easier, faster, and simpler than having to create a tree of folders to put notes in. The problem with organization trees is that the user has to predict the structure of the organization Tree first, then enter the data. Tags allow for a more self-organized, emergent approach. Try it. I think you will like it. The reason that I didn't award 5 stars is because of the awful interface The selected colors, white and turquoise make it very difficult to read and they make your eyes tired. There appears to be no way to customize the interface and have a dark background with lighter text. If the developer allows the user to customize the interface colors I will add the fifth star. Good work this is a potentially very useful program.
