In the beginning the game was great, but over time you find that certain kingdoms become out right bullies, daily attacking the same group of lower castles because they are to freaking lazy to get there own rss and/or they don’t want to let you grow and actually play the game. It’s not a game of strategy when your constantly hit on a regular basis by the same kingdom(s) over and over again. Another problem is when you go to click on update and it doesn’t show in the App Store until 3 or 4 days later.

  • Threats of violence and sexual assault allowed by game devs

I have been playing this game for about 2 years. When I first started the ‘free to play’ option was decent. That has degraded quite a bit as many people seem to spend hundreds of dollars on this game and now it’s more like ‘free to play but pay to win’ game. That said there is very little balance. But in my opinion that is the smaller problem to this game. That is the only reason I can give this game one star. In the past 6 months or so, game play has deteriorated and many players speak openly of violence in the public chat space. There are threats to kill each other, and each other’s family’s. In the past month I have seen players threatening to rape and sodomize other players. The swear filter is easily outsmarted therefore it’s useless. Moderators exist but do nothing about these violent threats and lewd discussions. The game itself says age 9+ but I wouldn’t let my kids near this game. There is no indication that the game developers try to curb this foul language and threats of violence. Many players have complained, including screenshots, but nothing is done. Moderators do not even intervene. These players who are threatening others and spewing violence and threats spend money and the game developers do love their money so they allow the general chat room to be filled with threats of violence and sexual abuse. It ruins game play and the fact that it goes completely unchecked by game moderators even though players have complained tells me this game is not for kids or teens. And really, is isn’t for adults when people are threatening sexual violence and murder in real life. There is nothing fun about this, it’s actually very scary and despicable. The developer of this game has a responsibility to provide a gaming experience that is free of offensive material. This developer is not following up on complaints of violence, death threats, and threats of sexual violence. Therefore this game developer is in fact condoning this violent behavior and allowing this environment to exist within their game. I can not recommend this game. The gave developers only seem to care about making money and not about providing a safe and decent gaming environment. I also think if their foul language filter is so easily outsmarted, they should not be allowed to list this game for ages 9+. It has far too much foul language and violent discussion for children. Bottom line, Apple may not know that FunPlus is allowing this environment. FunPlus knows though, and doesn’t care to enforce rules to rectify the complaints against the players that seem to ruin the game for everyone else. I would pass on this game and find one where the game developers actually work toward providing a safer and more pleasant gaming environment.

This game is fun but they make you spend a lot of money to play the game or you sit there not being able to get ahead. You also need to subscribe to get things higher. I contacted the help and support and you guessed it they didn’t even send me a generic we got your message and will get back to you. So if you want to spend a ton of money this is your game.

It portrays this game as a game where you can go into battles and have control over the battles themselves mixed in with a strategy game. But in reality there is you have NO control over the battles and you can’t even view the battles (the adds said you could do that) And there is NO strategy it’s just a rip off of, “ War of Colony”. I’d recommend staying away from this terrible monstrosity of a game.
