  • The best of the three bureaus

I don’t understand some of these 1 stars I’ve found Experian to be far and away the best credit bureau to deal with. Having had 8 identity thefts in the past and dealing with all 3 bureaus numerous times I found Experian was the only one to make the process less painful. I like their app and it’s simple to use

I’ve used Experian credit tracker for a while now as keeping track of my credit and score is very important to my business. Experience shut down this app and started A new one and it is awful! I can’t get the mobile app to give me my updated credit score and every time I call customer service I’m directed to an overseas representative who has no answer or resolution to this issue. So why am I paying $19.99 a month for an app that doesn’t work?

The App has changed in many ways in the last few month. Excellent user interface, great speed and very useful information.
  • Need ability to freeze credit from app for free

Overall, this App is great. However, it lacks the ability to freeze/unfreeze credit from the app without “upgrading” to a very expensive monthly plan. Trans union and equifax both have great free apps for freezing/unfreezing credit. For Experian, you have to use their website unless you pay $$ for CreditLock. Please add this functionality; then this will be 5 stars!
  • Great Tool

No bad experiences and I even pay the addl fee to get the actual scores mortgage, credit card and car loan lenders use vs the score 8 which is help but misleading when seeking a loan as score 8 is wayyyy higher than what the lenders use. The notifications help, as well as, locking and unlocking my report with easy.

I’m so happy I have this app. It’s so accurate. I went to buy a car and they couldn’t check my credit because I had it locked. Once I unlocked it everything was good very good security. I’m so glad I have this app for the last two years.

It is easier to keep track of your score.
  • No costumer service

Experian Credit Tracker probably has the worst costumer care service I have seen. I have a membership, $30 a month, downloaded the application to the phone and : first, the credit score in the app is not the same in the website, second when I try to use any of the services, it asks me to get a $20 a month membership! Is that on top of the one I’m paying? I tried to call 5 different numbers to speak to someone, it is just NOT POSSIBLE, they either referred me back to the website or ask me to send a letter which they latter say they will not respond! So you can guess my advice

I enjoy using the app and tracking my credit updates and this app makes it easy to do just that. There are a few too many ads but otherwise well worth it.
