This app works once and then I get “Error getting FitBit it profile. Cannot sync”. I followed the instructions on the web site (delete app from FitBit site, re-add it) and that gets it to sync. Once. Then the next time I try to sync, I get the same error, and I have to go through the whole thing all over again. I have done this several times now and it’s not worth the trouble. Does anyone else see this issue?

After syncing the first time I thought it worked amazingly. Then I tried syncing again an hour later with the one click sync button and it took the data from Apple health and changed my Fitbit data to what was in my Apple health. So I had 1100 steps on my Fitbit app and 970 in my Apple health app. I clicked the sync button and that changed my Fitbit steps to 970 and kept my Apple health steps 970. I made sure that I was using this app (and not the app that uploads data from Apple health to Fitbit). So my Fitbit data is messed up from this.

I’ve had this for three days and it has taken me over 30 min of trouble shooting / logging in and out of the app / etc before finally getting it to sync. It is like a never ending record of this error message that will haunt my dreams: “Cannot Sync: Error getting Fitbit profile”. Well sorry to your “help forum” solution but I did “leave “profile” checked”. I replied there saying that solution didn’t work (as did many others) and no one replied. This app is stupid. I don’t know why it has 5 stars. Refund please!

I have been using this for three days and have had to go to Fitbit settings online, disallow it, and start the process over from the beginning every time.

Is it possible to support a fitbit versa app? That way you could sync it via Bluetooth?🤔
  • Does not move detail of heart rate

It creates some sort of daily average for heart rate. Absolutely meaningless.
  • Stuck on Permissions screen... useless

Working great, now bringing over my fitbit data including the Aria Scale. All of my fitbit data is in Apple Health which is now linked to my account at the Drs office. Great to have everything available in Apple Health.
  • It doesn’t sync detailed Heart Rate

I want the detailed heart rate data transferred from my Fitbit Alta HR to the Apple Health app on my phone. It does NOT transfer detailed heart rate info, just the daily average, so if you want to see your rate for a particular workout via Apple health you can’t. I think that info should be clearly stated in the app description.
