  • Best content and app to match

Joined for Russo. Wasn't expecting the app to be as perfect - aesthetically and functionally- as it is. Nice job.
  • Thought it would be better

    Not worth it.
  • This is where Quality Writers go to ply their craft

    By Frankmurph
When sports outlets run by tv money or lack thereof, or newspapers cutting payroll and bodies because of the dumbing down by us the consumer decided to stop buying papers, where do quality sports story tellers, observers, and analyst go. Well until recently, I think mostly local blogs. Now, there is this new platform, the Athletic that combines the national perspective with the regional. Really great writers from my home region, like Dana O’Neill and Rich Hoffman give us both local, regional and national insight. This site along with are the essentials fo college basketball. Oh, Seth Davis in charge is an inspired choice.

Coverage and commentary is top notch. And. All without annoying commercials and nonsense distractions. I highly recommend The Athletic and consider the investment in this app to be money well spent

  • So far so good

Got the sale price and am enjoying it so far. I love that articles, highlights, and podcasts are all easily accessible. The app is slick and content good. As a bay area sports fan I'm content. I'll admit that I'm unsure if I'd pay $8/month for this.
  • Well worth your $$$$

Love, love, love how clean the app is. One thing is a small peeve is when you try opening an article via Twitter it doesn’t open in the Athletic app.
