App is very slow at loading and takes a bit of time to update after adding an item to the closet. Hopefully, future enhancements will improve the performance. In addition, loading items on 1 device doesn’t mean they show up in another linked device. For example, I loaded a lot of items through my iPad, but my iPhone doesn’t show anything in my closet. Add on to review: I discovered that adding items to existing capsules is not consistent. Sometimes, it adds them and sometimes it doesn’t. Also, the extreme long time it takes to update a capsule after adding an item is way too long. I timed it once for my smallest capsule and it took over 5 minutes (and then I discovered the item wasn’t added).
  • Can’t even use it!

I signed up for the free trial and it wouldn’t let me sign up past that page. Had to make sure I cancelled the subscription so it wouldn’t charge $7.99 after 3 days. There’s also no “Help or Contact Us” button on the app homepage if you run into this issue.
  • 1st week love it! It’s helping me shop smart!

Cladwell...I really really need to be able to log more than 1 outfit a day! I may workout in the morning, then change to work clothes, then change to date night outfit! We are women, we change clothes more than once a day!!!
  • Scam

By I love rainbow and unicorns
When I went to make an account it asked if I wanted to start the free trial and I said yes but then it said there was an error and the subscription was canceled. Me being super paranoid went to double check and it was canceled and was going to charge me in 3 days. This is a scam. If you get that message double check and cancel the subscription.
  • A gift from the Gods!

I have literally waited years for an app like this! Here’s my rundown on what I love, what I don’t like, and what I would like to see in the near future: What I Love: beautiful, clean, modern, minimalistic user interface. I love seeing my wardrobe all in one place, the ability to log daily outfits, place items in storage, add pictures from the web, and create capsules. I enjoy the statistical information provided for each article of clothing and the ability to “filter by item”. The short blog videos with “how to wear so-and-so 5 different ways” is also absolutely genius! This is one of the rare apps that I use daily and am willing to pay a subscription for. I see huge potential for Outfits by Cladwell, and I’m excited to see where the app will go, which is why I purchased the 1-year subscription. What I Don’t Like: I’m not sure how effective the recommendations are for weather, though it seems to be improving with each update. However, I don’t like that we’re restricted to weather by one source (DarkSky). I’m not sure I understand the Shopping Guide — for instance, it’s recommending a Denim Jacket, but I already own a Denim Jacket and it’s part of my current Outfits wardrobe. What I Would Like to See in the Near Future: Ability to log previous outfits; ability to plan future outfits, not just to see tomorrow’s recommendations; ability to see outfits on a monthly calendar like Stylebook does; option to search by keyword, such as “peacoat” and see all available peacoats; please add accessories such as scarves, jewelry, and purses; please add the following clothing items to the database: Light Chambray Shirt (not denim) Dark Chambray Shirt (not denim) Pea Coats (different colors & lengths) Argyle Sweaters Corduroy Pants (more colors; add bootcut and flare) Corduroy Jackets Flare Jeans More Tunic Tops More A-Line Skirt Options
  • Basic

If you only shop at Forever21 this app is for you! Extremely basic to the point of almost useless. Definitely not worth paying $8 a month. All of the clothes and outfit options are so plain and simple that it’s nearly impossible to make an outfit that would look bad no matter how random the selection. I honestly don’t know who repeatedly uses this and pays for it.
  • So helpful!

I love this app and it has changed the game for my wardrobe. One thing I wish you could do though is browse your outfits and star or pin ones that you really like and would want to try in the future and maybe even be able to plan them on your calendar. Besides that, this app has been amazing so far, and those changes would make it a five star app for me! Thank you for putting this together!
  • New Life to My Closet

    By Rerun7
Update: I have been using Cladwell for a few months now and I still really like it. There are some other features after using it that I would like to see: 1. A calendar view of previously worn outfits instead of a scrolling list. 2. Stats on most worn/least worn items. Maybe even something that pops up saying “we’ve noticed you haven’t worn ‘item x’ in a while” and walk us through a flow chart style questionnaire of considering getting rid of it to make space in our closet. For my most-worn items I would love to see a grouping of images as I think it would help me narrow down what I like about particular items which will help me make better purchases in the future. Thanks for the great app! I have appreciated the frequency of updates which shows the developers are dedicated to its success! Previous Review: It I am enjoying this app so much. I have used it for the past 3 days since I downloaded to pick it my outfit for the day. I love how if you don’t like a certain aspect of the suggested outfit you can either refresh the whole thing or swap out a specific item for another. This would be a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ app for me with the following ideas: 1. I would appreciate ability to offer suggestions for the upcoming day(s). Then we could save outfits to the built-in calendar but still have the option to refresh if we changed our mind for some reason. 2. I’d love a built-in travel planning option that would help pick out clothes and maximize outfits with minimal packing. For example: choose business/pleasure or mix, location (for climate), and number of days, and it would suggest what to pack to cover all the bases. 3. It would be nice to have a way to play around with outfit combos that are suggested and be able to save them for ideas for another time. This kind of ties in with #1 as far as wanting the ability to plan ahead. So far this app has been very useful to me and seeing new ways to wear my clothes. I look forward to future updates!
  • Worth it!!

I don’t ever pay for apps, ever. But I shelled out $40 for this one, because I could already tell after using it for 2 days that it would make my life so much easier/more fashionable. I look so fly. I feel like Cher from Clueless, which is really the only thing I ever wanted in life.

I’ve always had great pieces, I just never knew how to put them together well. I love how if I want to wear a specific item, I can filter outfits with just that item. My only critique would be the addition of accessories on the app.
