  • Good idea needs work

    By TessTX
I love the concept and that this app suggests outfits in my closet that I might not have been considering. What it desperately needs: 1. The ability to add additional outfits for a single day. E.g. an evening event 2. The ability to select a date and add an outfit (trip planning, logging a date you missed, or planning the next day or a specific special event. 3. Ability to take snapshots of your own items and add to your closet. 4. It pulls in weather but doesn't appear to consider that in the outfit suggested. 3 and 4 are a nice to have but without 1 & 2 it is of limited value to me and I will abandon it quickly.
  • I love my clothes again

    By JanelleRK
This is the first time I've ever reviewed an app but I'm so happy with this one that I wanted to say something. It creates outfits I wouldn't have thought to create. I feel like I am enjoying my clothes again instead of wanting to buy all new clothes.
  • Not that exciting

    By Llamagrl16
My whole beef with this is that the outfits are basic af. No more imaginative than what I could put together myself.
  • App crashes constantly.

    By Jinnybinny
Love the app, love the idea and all... that being said, the app crashes on me often. It's hard to get anything done like adding items because while you're scrolling, it just crashes. 5 stars if they fix this!
  • Love the idea, hate the app

    By Nicole.Reed823
I think this is an awesome idea, I've been waiting for something like this which is why I was so excited to download the app! However once I downloaded it, it became super buggy from the get go- I signed up, agreed to pay then when I went to login it told me I did not have an account, so I went to resign up and it told me I couldn't because I already had a subscription 🙄. Hopefully the issue gets resolved since I couldn't even login I had to cancel the subscription. If this issue gets resolved I will download again and use.
  • Not as it seems

It's a wonderful idea, but you'll need to pay for it. It's not really free, and it only gives 3 days before you have to pay. Would not recommend.
  • Not what it seems

They make you think it's free but it's only free for three days. The ad I saw foot kept raving and raving about how it was free..
  • Wonderful!

I've been looking for something like this app for a long time, and I've used Stylebook and many others and don't like all the gyrations needed to upload my own photos and remove backgrounds. I don't understand the low reviews, (these must have been in the beginning) because this is an excellent app with a great interface, smooth running, intuitive, and the developers are very responsive and willing to add items to their database if you just email them. The outfit combinations make sense and you can tell they have put a lot of effort into make sure the combinations work unlike Stylebook and others which just have a random generator. I've been using Cladwell Outfits since the very beginning and they have made so many excellence upgrades including the ability to make different capsules and edit or refresh the recommended daily outfits. This app is about making your wardrobe more efficient not trying to get you to buy things. I love that! Keep doing what you're doing Cladwell.
  • Meh.

    By WileyLittle1
This app is such a great concept. If only it worked! It is a daily frustration for me. On top of that they expect you to pay a monthly fee to use it. Every time it crashes or takes 5 minutes to load 3 outfits and THEN crashes I think to myself why am I paying for this!? It isn't saving me time picking out clothes in the morning. It had me wearing the same pair of pants 3 times in a week when I probably have a dozen pairs to choose from. There's no option to say something is in the dirty clothes or whatever. I stuck it out for months, tested update after update and gave them too much of my money. It is a great idea! But it feels like it's still in beta and is DEFINITELY not worth a monthly fee.
  • A little obsessed.

I'm a little obsessed with this app. I won't say that using it has made my mornings effortless — I am capable of agonizing over different combinations in the app for an embarrassing amount of time — but this app has suddenly helped me to see that I have SO MANY CLOTHES and really don't need to buy any more. As someone who has struggled with simplification for a long time, this is a minor miracle. A whole new world of possibilities has opened up to me just from what I already had in my closet, and I am so happy. I think the $3.50 or whatever it is a month that the yearly subscription is costing me is prooooobably well offset by the clothes that I am NOT buying. Minor gripes / Wish list features: I really wish I could pick out my clothes for the next day the night before. I kinda do, just by exploring possibilities in the desired capsule, but I'd like to be able to log in advance. I wish I could tap on two items and see which outfits they occur in together. I wish there was a “stats” page where I could see what I was really wearing (each individual item has a stats page, but I'd like one for the whole app, or per capsule or something). I wish there was support for accessories (scarves, hats, jewelry) and also multiple layers: like, in the winter, I'll wear a top (and bottoms obv), a sweater, and a coat over it all. Currently you can only log one layer, which is not how I dress (I live in upstate NY). Aaaaaaand lastly I really really wish you could log more than one outfit in a day. I very very often have an outfit change in the evening, say for work and then date night after, or hiking and then dinner after. Anyway, I am fond of this app and totally recommend it. It only started in what, March? And the developers have been fabulous about improving the app and rolling out new updates. KEEP IT UP!
