    I haven’t used this app a lot yet to truly attest to its effectiveness, but one thing is certain: being in the military, I constantly use 24 hour military time. Considering that this solely revolves around monitoring time, I’d appreciate it if I didn’t have to do the conversions in my head! Secondly, but of less importance, how about an optional persistent notification that counts down until the fast is over? Or at least a widget? Shouldn’t be too hard to implement, but I think it would serve as a constant reminder, and an easy go-to in case you want to check.

    Coaching is not needed, charge for coaching and it’s reoccurring payment so it will charge you again after 3 months unexpectedly. Was not able to receive a refund. The app is ok without the coaching not to much of a difference.

    The only free option close to what I need is 16:8. To get 18:6, I’d have to pay. It makes no sense as there is no difference between the way they work, just how long the window is. So this app is useless to me to even try out.

    I absolutely love this app! I paid for 6 mos of the intermittent fasting coach. It helps exponentially to keep track of when I’m on a fast & when I’m not and I can see the next 8 days. So planning for dinners out or lunches, meetings is so easy. It is very flexible and is highly motivational. I downloaded the app and began this way of life after watching the Documentary “Fasting” Directed by Doug Orchard featuring Valter Longo, PhD and Jason Fung on Amazon Prime Video. I’ve always believed fasting was an essential part of our lives. After all, breakfast is to “Break our Fast” of not eating from dinner, whilst sleeping and then until usually we eat a meal straight away. That’s what we’ve been told as a society. To eat all the time and that hunger, in any form, is unacceptable and unhealthy. Of course this is the message pushed on us with $10 billion dollars per year spent by the food industry just in Advertising alone! That is a lot of advertising coming at us 24/7 that we should eat what we want, when we want & as much as we want. But what comes to my mind after fasting is GROSS! I realize how much food I consumed before and it makes me sick. I actually know what hunger is. Not just eating out of boredom, habit or because something tastes good and it might satiate me for the moment. Like filling an emptiness that many attempt to fill with food. The stats don’t lie and more people are spending more on food and eating out than ever before, ESP in America. But what is best for our mind, body & spirit? Fasting! I can’t believe how much better I feel. I have mental clarity and almost a euphoria. I’m not sluggish but I try to keep the fact that I’m fasting to myself. It’s for me to know. And the other huge part of this is I know this is a regular part of my Christian faith. Jesus fasted regularly and teaches that some bondage, obstacles, etc can only be overcome by praying whilst fasting. And I know this to be true from personal experience. The Bible teaches us to not be like the people who do things for the wrong reasons, however. Such as people who give to charity just because everyone will see and think they’re such wonderful people. That is their reward. But what we do, we do in secret, and our Heavenly Father which sees in secret shall bless us openly. What i do for others & to bring God glory i do for Him through my Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, Lord & Savior of the whole world. Fasting is to deny the flesh/body/physical self that is constantly demanding and telling me what to do, lol. And then my spirit, which never sleeps, which is willing to obey, follow and do God’s will for the life He has loaned to me for this very short period of time we call life. I personally believe this is just a healthier, God-given way to live a happier and healthier life. And the medical studies/Science backs these claims up. All of the medical benefits are given in the movie, and you can read online the many documented real benefits to fasting, with clinical studies to back them up Fasting is also a way to simplify one’s life. I’ve also lost weight. I’m healthier. You know the human body has an amazing ability to do great things, cleanse itself and rid itself of even cancer by fasting. If the body is constantly feeding it is also then constantly digesting. And then it’s not going to focus all of it’s energy on anything else. Also, check out the Seventh Day Adventists. They fast regularly as they do live by what the Bible teaches, not what is popular or by opinion. But I believe this to be the truth. And if you don’t, I don’t hate or judge you. But, if you sincerely look at this with an open mind, and seek out the truth for yourself, you will see that as a group of studies people, they’re healthier than any other group. So what’s the difference? So please don’t just take my word for it, seek and you shall find. The movie does cover the reasons for fasting and does cover religious fasting. I am not a “religious” person. I hate being described hat way Bc it sounds so negative. I’ve put my faith in the truth, NOT a system. I follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ of the Bible. And I’m sure many will laugh at this, that’s ok. They laughed at Jesus too. So it is an honor to share that with Him. There is so much more to this life than what most people think. And it is my sincerest hope, that people will really find the love of Jesus Christ, Whom is the Way the Truth and the Life for themselves. This is an app review...I digress....this app is awesome and I highly recommend it.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    I’m doing the 16-8 method and today is day 2. I like the app because it’s a reminder of my conviction when I started, and like a good friend, it cheers me on. It also counts down my fasting period, and gives me reminders when they start. And best of all, this method is free!

    I lost two pounds in my first week with absolutely NO problems, and my system has adapted to the time frame. If I find myself hungry outside of the time frame I know other things are going on with me! This app helps keep me stay intact with what’s going on with me!!! I thank God for showing me this app!!!!
