The graphics are great, the scheme is cool, the build/decorate elements are cool. I would give it 5 stars except for two things! ***Update, they have increased the rate at which you get compasses in playing scenes but I just finished opening 10 gift boxes and played ten bars of energy and didn’t get a single building material! The latest revision has a bug! To compound the problem, I have sat for three days needing two materials to upgrade an item! Even worse, my current challenge is to collect 30, yes 30 materials! At this rate that will NEVER happen!!! Ridiculous! 1- the rate at which you get compasses which are required to expand into more space to build is ridiculously low!!! I have played the same scene like 50 times in the last day and a half needing tow compasses to expand and haven’t gotten a single 1! 2- The rate at which you unlock more elements to build is way to slowly!!! In order to advance levels, you need to build, in order to build, you need space/land (point 1) and you need items to build! In order to build enough in limited space, you need to build large point/ high value items. They don’t unlock those very often so you have to duplicate and build the same thing over and over! Combine issue 1 with issue two and you island is utterly “cluttered” which defeats the benefit of the aesthetics cool things to build!! I mean don’t you want to build something that looks cool? The island is ugly because they didn’t think these aspects through!!! Please read these reviews and think it through and you would get 5 stars! Finally, and this is added after reading other reviews, they seem to listen to and respond to review comments... except for the issue (which I state but now summarize) that you can’t really advance without building the same old items and cramming them in tightly and making them look like crap! I haven’t seen a response to that main issue yet! Open up more, different items sooner AND give compasses (and the ability to expand) more often!!! Otherwise what starts off looking like a cool island looks like crap and we lose interest!

Why don’t you have a way to gain and store energy the way you have on Pearl. It would really help advance when you really need to. Also, everything is so cramped. When gaining more ground, it is very small and barely enough room to decorate properly. I love to decorate the island as pretty as possible making groups of the different scenes and themes. I love this game and play every day. LN
  • Best game ever

I’m not much of a phone game player but this summer I was bored and I’m so glad I found this one. I am in love with this game. I think Wooga has nailed every aspect. The story line is great, the graphics are beautiful, and the complexity of the decorating aspect, and the hidden object game play is well balanced. It draws you in and makes you feel like part of the investigation. I read another review of how Wooga was stingy with this or that. I completely disagree. It’s a challenge and it really replicates the cliffhanger aspect of a great novel. If it were too easy I would lose interest. This game is brilliant and so much fun!
  • I love June

Okay first of all I love this game - it’s the only game I have on my phone I send my sister screen shots of my island (cause I’m not on Facebook) and talk about crazy June like she’s one of our friends ... but I have a question ... when you buy a building ... and you’re waiting for it to build ... and you are waiting for your flowers ... and then an upgrade to the building comes... so you click it ... it then is in upgrade mode and you never receive your initial flowers... right? Like I JUST got the movie theatre ... and now it’s in upgrade for 95 flowers ... but now I can’t see how many original flowers I was supposed to get ?? It should be 95+ what I was owed for the initial purchase ... me even writing this comment should show how involved with this game I am - I love it - but also am I wrong about this issue?
  • From the reviews it seems like it’s bad!

I will never play that game any more
  • Slow to get anywhere

I like the game but it only lets you advance a very low percent. It takes forever to be able to expand the island.
  • Sad videos.

I play such games such as these to escape from reality, even for a short time. As players, part of the game play requires us to watch videos. For the first time I had to watch one from the Humane Society. I am sure the Humane Society pays to advertise in your games, but I found this video very upsetting. If you continue to air the depressing ads I will stop playing this game. I know they have uplifting ads, but this was not one of them. I would rate this game a 5 Star except for the ad I had to watch today.
  • Don’t get hooked into this game!

    By Poeticinspire
This is an interesting game to play, but when I generated enough stars for a third small expansion of my land, I clicked to find I needed more diamonds than I had generated clearing trees and stones on the first expansions.. I had spent diamonds for nothing else, saving them to expand. You have to expand because you can’t move further in the game without earning flowers which come from purchases of buildings or other things. Soon you have a filled lot with no more space, I had no more no way to earn diamonds since everything had been cleared. Now the only choice is to BUY them. Some sacks cost TEN DOLLARS. Expand again, you need more. A large sack costs NINETY NINE DOLLARS. Yes, in real money the developer’s response below is baloney. They said I could play without spending money. Not true. I see other people on here commenting that they’ve been spending four to five dollars a week! I’ve deleted the game. Developers, give more ways for people to earn diamonds...maybe a ‘perfect’ run could unload a pile of diamonds?

I love the game. I get a little frustrated bc the name of an item is hard to figure out but easy to find. Like plaster when it was a band aid. Also I don’t know what the cards and flowers and gems and such are for.
  • I love this game! Few suggestions

    By Alisonriegel
This is hands down the best game I’ve played. I get bored of games quickly but this one has held my attention. It’s the best out of P Peril and Agent A (sister games). The other 2 don’t even come close. The story line is always interesting, the characters are great, and the constant updates get better and better! It doesn’t crash as often as it used to which is great! The few thing I’d suggest include giving more compasses/coins/resources. I’m okay with waiting to build up coins and stuff but I am not okay waiting 3 days for something to upgrade. We don’t get enough gems to speed this up at a reasonable rate. We need to earn more coins per scene or get higher bonuses for the perfect score. I am very happy with the amount of energy we get though and I love having the energy discount. The addition of the quests has been a huge help with coins and energy! I didn’t know the game could get better but it sure does every time! Please continue to listen to your players because this game is amazing.
