  • This app is not available on the App Store

    By dinotrex526
This app sold to another company so be aware what you see here might not be working for long. This app just lost 8 years of my data because they sold to a new owner. They don’t offer any help at all to recover my old data!
  • Updates & fixes needed; I’m hanging in here

    By Lotus_Fleur
I’ve been using Pocket Money since the original owner, Hardy, was over it. I must admit, it’s the best tracking/budget app I’ve used so far (and I’ve tried many). There’s just a few minor upgrades and fixes that I wish would be made, but there’s no option to make suggestions on their website. The scheduled posts do not post; it would be nice to have a sound-alert option for scheduled posts; it would be nice to have a monthly calendar and when you select a date, it will show any transaction for that day (plus a total balance for the selected day). I’m not even sure the app is supported any longer. There has been no updated info posted on their website. I’d be willing to pay for an upgrade if the developer is willing to make some major/minor updates (basically a mini-makeover).
  • Not ready for prime time

Been using pocket money for a very long time. This one is just too buggy and we switched Mack to pocket money 2. With this one it constantly does not sync properly, it deletes transactions and my account balance has not been right since we started using it. I also deleted everything and then we did another sync, and our stuff did not match again. And then for my wife it brought in all kinds of old items from like last year. I was excited to see a newer version but it needs a huge amount of quality control. ***update*** this has had a few updates, and it is working perfect for us again.
  • Fix it Positive Balance displays as negative

This app keeps displaying my positive balances in red as negative in only one account. In all my other accounts is display the negative balances as black with a negative sign. fix it.
  • Discouraging

NEW UPDATE: there hasn’t been an update in quite some time. Now iOS 12 is here and still no update. No updates and no support. You do the math. UPDATE: I opened a ticket and never got a response. Not only is it incredibly difficult to contact this developer, but when you do, they don’t even respond. What’s the point of having “Custom” fields if you can’t customize them? You can’t create names for them. It’s incredibly hard to import custom icons. This app isn’t being worked in at all and feels like abandonware once again. OLD REVIEW: The lack of recent updates to this app is a discouraging sign. The original PocketMoney app was incredible. It’s legacy due to the original developer (who unfortunately succumbed to cancer). Since then, it has changed names and ownership about three times. Each time there have been promises to support this app. Each time we have been let down. This is a terrific piece of software that seems to be bought for quick profit and then dumped. I have paid full price three times already and still don’t feel secure that development will continue. Support from the most recent owner has been cool at best, and difficult to access. I don’t know where the updates have gone. There seems to be no roadmap either. I hope I’m wrong because as stated, this is a wonderful piece of software.
  • Awesome!

This is my favorite finance app and I’ll keep using it but when I delete an account it crashes. When I reopen it the account I wanted gone was successfully deleted I could just do without the extra step of reopening. 🙂
  • Liked PM2 so trying PM GT

    By Knight1833
Generally it feels the same so far with a couple annoying changes. Overall I think it will work but I am disappointed that I had to purchase the app again. Complaints: I was finally able to sync my accounts from my old phone with the server/client sync after trying iCloud and email backup, neither of which worked. The + to add a transaction is in a BAD spot. It should be in the lower left corner as it was in the other versions of PM. The register in accounts is slightly changed from PM2 which looked better. Some options listed on the help page (Display Options) is not actually available in the app.
  • App Feedback

I tried to use the support system in the web site but the URL was wrong and takes you to the Wordpress login page. 1. On adding a new transaction, please already have the first text field ready for input with the keyboard displayed. Used to be that way, needs to be that way. 2. I do not see any options for themes, fonts, etc listed in the app description, am I missing something? This is an amazing app with an equally amazing story behind it! Props to GT for carrying on and continued support for PocketMoney!!
  • Much Improved Recently

    By na4i
The app has been functioning very well after all the recent bug fixes and my initial poor review. I can sync reliably between devices and that is essential. Also, nothing is hid behind overlapping drop down menus. I still get a crash every now and then when entering a new transaction, but that’s been true since the original version from many years ago. I much prefer this over the other personal financial apps I’ve tried.
  • Numbers Keypad Problem

    By Reviewer GH
This is an excellent App that I have been using for many years. It has everything needed and more. Multiple currencies, recurring transactions, budgets, reports, you name it, it’s all there and very nicely done. With iPhone X changes, there is an annoying problem. The numbers pad reaches the very bottom of the page. I find myself continuously closing the App unintentionally when I am entering zeros. Please address this annoying problem by reducing the size of the keypad. I still give it 5 stars and hope this problem will be resolved soon.
