  • Awesome game

    By Hogwarts kid
This game is so FUN but it takes a while to get your energy up and that sort of annoys me. But overall it is a good game!
  • love it, but frustrated

    By meellllllllll
i completely understand why it costs money/gems to replenish your energy. i just think that because energy is so vital to playing the game, there would be an option to watch ads for 2-3 energy, (like there is for gems sometimes) or that the energy bonuses found around the castle would recharge faster (not every 6 hours), or simply, it didnt cost as many gems as it currently does to buy energy (20 gems for 10 energy). i play mobile games because i dont have money for traditional video games, so the price being so steep for energy is preeeetty frustrating
  • Energy regen horrible

    By Review dates?
Energy regen- limited amount of videos to watch ONE (1), then back to spending money or waiting. Just by having the same “couple” people (*cough* 1 *cough*) spam their reviews is very indicative that the game is SO horrible they have to cheat to get the numbers up there. Very recent “update” after the update to get the bad reviews to go away. Energy- watching the video for energy has been added but, GUESS WHAT, you spend more time watching the videos than playing the game. Ultra-sadness
  • Good game

It’s a fun game but here are the problems. 1. Variety. The choices for your avatar, especially hair styles, are absolutely terrible. You either get straight long hair, straight short hair, curly short hair, or clumpy thingys. No ponytails, buns, or braids! I mean come on. 2. Refill time. It is the most ridiculous thing ever. FOUR MINUTES just to refill one thing of energy. No. Make it one minute. Way too long. 3. Quest time. I have to wait eight hours to start some of these quests. The smallest amount of time your gonna get is at least an hour. I can’t ever just sit and play this game for long amounts of time because of things like this. 4. Expense. Things are just WAY too expensive. One of the hairstyles literally costs 400 gems to buy. Gems are hard to get. It takes me a long time to save up. Please lower the prices. Sincerely, a Hufflepuff second year student
  • Great Game, Can’t play for long tho

I love the game it’s interesting and entertaining but the classes you do require energy and you run out too often and have the option to buy it but it gets too expensive to play the game. Your energy will regenerate 1 point every 4 minutes for a total of 25 energy points but it runs out fast and that makes the game only to be played for a short amount of time. I wish I could just purchase the game to play it cause I can’t rationalize spending more than $10 for it which is what I’ve spent already on energy points cause I love to play it.. JAM CITY ➡️ please make this game able to be purchased!!
  • HUGE time waster, and not in a hood way

    By z-scape
What is with this energy system? I use up an entire bar of 33 to get 1 and 1/2 stars in one class. It's not even very fun besides the duels--just infinite tapping and more waiting. Plus, I get the feeling the choices you make don't even matter. Obviously not a good game to play if you're not willing to dish out some money.
  • 5 star

  • Well.....

    By FablehavenLover
Well, I do love the whole aspect of going to Hogwarts and trying to find a missing sibling, but the whole thing is a little too cheesy and quite a few of the little details are off (but only true Harry Potter fans like me would notice them, so it’s not a huge deal, but still). I’m actually okay with the whole energy thing, cause it keeps me from staring at my phone for hours on end. However, it just doesn’t give that warm and fuzzy feeling that I get when I read Harry Potter. I’m giving it three stars because it is a decent game, but more time should have been spent on the little details. (Ex. Peeves should not be blue). Update: added one more star, just finished year 3 and I really enjoyed the plot, as well as some of the updates. Still not giving 5, though. Maybe someday. Also from the pictures it looks like you can choose the color of you pets, but I’ve seen a lot of videos and you can’t. But otherwise, good game!
  • It’s ok

    By Woodlane3132
If you enjoy doing the same thing over and over again, then this is the game for you. I was stoked about the game and after playing it for a few weeks I’ve lost my enthusiasm for it. The lessons are boring and repetitive. It’s an energy hog like no other. The storyline is eh and it could be more original. However, the graphics are nice.
  • Can’t enjoy what you can’t play

    By MannyandJennifer
Please, guys, stop rating something 5 stars when you admit it has serious flaws. Everyone seems to agree that the energy (which you need to complete tasks) is ridiculously low to sustain any real gameplay. Expect to play for very literally a few minutes before you either run out of energy or your next objective is locked for 6-8 hours. All of this, of course, unless you want to pay real money. I understand that this platform and pay-to-play are a necessary alliance, and I’m often willing to pay for playing a good game more when it seems reasonable. This isn’t reasonable. I adore HP but I don’t know how long I want to keep bothering with this game. Until the developers decide to balance players with profit, nothing will change.
