    Please, don’t send push about “your banking session has timed out” every time. Notification is for something important, for example transaction. Its make mess in my Notification Centre.
  • Stuck in endless password update loop

    Safari 12 and iOS 12 have me in an endless, no win password loop. Create new password, verify your credentials, enter the text code, save the password, click to log in...repeat the whole process. Not ready to Apple’s password encryption and updates. Crud. 8 cycles through the laundry between mocks and iOS and those infinite passwords combinations I have memorized. This app doesn’t work.

  • Scheduling does not work

    Waited in line at a branch for 40 minutes to make an appt because the scheduling feature does not work. Gets stuck on load. Edit- received a response to use the Erica assistant. While this is a workaround, I’d like the functionality I was trying to use to actually work too. BofA should hire Chase Banks mobile developers to see how to build a mobile app that works.

  • Bloated! Why no way to turn OFF “Erica”!?

    Edit: Why is app now over 300MB!?!? No need to make such a large app to hog space on my phone, just so I can check my bank balance. Ridiculous abuse of power. App keeps getting more and more bloated. Now this “Erica” thing is super annoying and just gets in the way. Why isn’t there a way to turn it OFF?

    Edited to add: We’ve asked for text/chat support and the ability to lock our CREDIT cards. Instead, you’ve given us “Erica,” an AI financial assistant that no one asked for. What are you doing, BoA? If you can build “Erica” you can create a platform for text/chat support. If Discover and Citi can give me the ability to lock my credit cards, so can you. Yet you refuse to do neither. Continue to be blind to the basics and I may just also give those banks my checking and savings account business as well. I don’t want another AI virtual assistant. What I NEED is the option to lock my credit cards. Plus, text/chat support with agents. I have zero use for “Erica” and since its implementation, I have not tried it once. Original: Company is great. Bank is great. Customer Service is great. The app for the most part is great. However, the app and online banking is missing a crucial feature that other competitor banks/credit card companies currently have - the ability to lock and unlock our credit cards. Please consider adding this feature for credit cards, the same way we can lock and unlock our debit card. This is a feature that is offered by both Discover and Citi - I know this fact first hand because I have their credit cards too. BofA monitoring my credit cards for fraudulent activity is all well and good, however, I also want peace of mind on my end by being able to control when my card is accessible. I hate to have to give a two star rating even though I love your app and have no other issues with it. I do so because this feature is very important to me and I can imagine is important to many other customers.
  • Doesn’t support “Bill Pay Choice”, so can’t pay credit cards thru this app

    I downloaded this app so that I can pay my credit card bills quickly and easily. However, since I am enrolled in “Bill Pay Choice”, it doesn’t give me the option to do so. So this app is only good to view your account balances, which makes it utterly useless for me, since I still have to log in to my computer to pay the balances off. I do not have any Bank of America accounts aside from two credit cards so all of the other features are useless for me.
  • transfer money between accounts doesn’t consistently

    The new version didn’t show the options of pay off current balance or pay the statement balance on my travel card. But they require to go to bill pay or transfer to do that which cause extra steps... and from there you have to remember the amount you own so you enter manually... why create extra step? I incident transfer to my friend money because I have a full of my transfer contact lists. It would be great to separate transfer or pay within credit cards VS transfer/ pay bill to other ppl or other acct from different bank like before.

    Allows me to do everything I need except make a payment on app from another bank account. Have to log into non-mobile site to make payments, which is probably the most necessary thing
