  • Good, but some features lacking so far

    By lynmeador
I just subscribed to a premium membership and was upset to see that the AI food recognition portion of tracking is not working. Am I doing something incorrectly? I’ve tried taking photos in the app and outside the app but no luck.

Supposed to sync to Health App but doesn’t. Waste of money
  • Not all that glitters is gold

Looks great... that’s it! After using my fitness pal on keto for 4 months, I thought I’d try Lifesum because of the specific diet plans. After just a few days of upgrading to the premium plan where these diet guides are available I regret the purchase very much. The serving sizes tracking your daily intake is horrible, the exercise options to track is minimal. I wish I would’ve just stuck with my free version of my Fitness pal.
  • Step

It’s a great app, but it never counts my steps. So far I walked 6000 steps and it counted none of them
  • Be careful

The app says that your subscription is $2.99 a month which although is true is charged all at once!!! Which is confusing when using apps because we assume it’s per month and then you can cancel. Now I’m stuck again with an app that I won’t use probably! Doesn’t even provide that many options for the price. Don’t buy
  • Great App, but there’s one thing missing...

    By Kindy24
I really like this app, but it would be nice if there was a category within the nutritional listing for sugar alcohols to get more accurate net carb counts.
  • Great App but needs improvements

    By Jackie3o3
I like how I am able to track everything on this app compared to others. It’s great that you can measure your overall fitness and choose a food plan to follow based off your health. But the food recipes in my opinion are lacking. I find them to be a little too much with ingredients. I’ve seen people lose weight just by eating simpler meals than what they offer. I’d appreciate it if they could dumb down the meals for beginners that are starting out that way they have a chance.
  • Food Database is Wrong

    By MarSimms
I was really hopeful about this app, and now I’m sorry that I signed up for a one-year subscription. The macro values are WAY off to the point that I have to cross reference EVERYTHING with another app. For someone new to a diet as sensitive as the keto diet, I need the data to be correct. Looking to cancel ASAP if this is not fixed. People are stupid, so user data should not be included.

I was hoping to use this for keto. They advertised keto recipes. When you buy it, you find out that there are not a lot of recipes that are keto compatible (less than 10g of carbs per meal). There are less than 20 recipes. They are still working on building their database for tracking macros, so it’s difficult if you are in the US to just find a meal that already has the macros. It’s also difficult to find very common foods and ethnic food. Yes it is pretty and the user interface is better than MyFitnesspal — but I will take function over UI any day! You also have to at minimum get 3 months. Save your $20!

They only have predetermined macro ratios and you can’t customize the tracking based on your goals. Waste of money for the paid version.
