  • Glitcher premium

    By I_go_down___ladies
Full of bugs, clunky search, unintuitive interface, and I have the specific issue of pausing a podcast while my phone is locked and in order to resume I have to search for the episode and find my place as the tracking is spotty to say the least, then take my phone off wifi in order for the episode to buffer. Step that sh!t up sticher, I'm tired of hearing 1,000 commercials each week for a bum service.
  • Fav podcast app but currently broken

    By Trentonwick
Please fix. Podcast restarts every time I leave the app. Also playlists used to stay on preferred page.
  • Car Bluetooth problems

    By OkieSurfer
An OK app - not a huge fan of the interface, but generally works as advertised and hey, it’s free and has all the podcasts I want to hear, which is a large amount. However, I just (Dec. 2017) started having some problems with Bluetooth connectivity (thru my iPhone 7 running iOS 11.2 and latest Stitcher app update) in my 2013 Toyota Camry SE. Downloaded podcast titles appear on the car’s display, but will only incrementally play fractions of a second every 10 seconds or so. Tried un-pairing and then re-pairing the phone with the car, rebooting the phone, etc., but that did not solve the problem. Don’t have any problems connecting and playing downloaded podcasts on Stitcher through any other Bluetooth-connected speaker devices, including ones that were manufactured prior to my Camry and with older Bluetooth software. Also, no other problems playing podcasts and music through other iPhone apps in the car, so I’m relatively certain this is an issue with the Stitcher and hope the developers can remedy it, please.
  • Unhappy iPhone 6 premium

Lots of playback and Bluetooth bugs, resuming episode bugs. Episodes drop later than on other platforms, limited shows/podcast network affiliates. I found Premium to be not worth my money.
  • It’s back to its awesome glory!

Updated 12/11/17. Since the update I am happy to say all my prior issues have been fixed. I’m loving it again! Thanks Stitcher for listening to your consumers and acting promptly to resolve our concerns. ———— I have been using this app for over 5 years and over 5000 hours. I generally love it and use it literally everyday. I even paid for premium service. My biggest complaint with the new update is when I connect it to my ford sync. I can no longer control the player from my phone. You see my vehicle auto plays my iPod and I used to be able to just hit play on my phone app for stitcher to play but now it just shows a black screen that’s says ford sync and connected. I can’t control it at all from my phone. I have to unplug it, go to my app, press play then plug it in and then tell my vehicle to play usb with a voice command and hope it plays stitcher.
  • I disagree with other reviewers

    By BulldozerShadow
This is the first time I’ve disagreed in general with other reviewers on the App Store. I’ve tried many apps. I listen to podcasts for about six hours a day while I work, every day. I have tried about half a dozen other podcast apps. Stitcher is the only one that works consistently. Podcast play continuously. I can easily create different playlists. Playback works on Sonos. I can skip, I can write each episode, I can speed up episodes, the interface is great, and I have enjoyed the app for years. I hope these really bad reviews mean very little and that the app continues to develop and remain great. It is my favorite of all the podcast apps I’ve tried. The one thing I really wish for, but which none of the other apps I’ve tried has anyway, is that when I play Stitcher through Sonos I could speed up my episodes. Pocketcaats also plays nicely with Sonos, but with them I still can’t speed up episodes through Sonos. And with all podcast apps that play through Sonos, there is still an annoying issue that unheard and heard episodes are not synced properly.
  • Legit terrible

I downloaded this app because my Earwolf one finally stopped working. Even that glitchy app was better than this. If this app doesn’t improve I won’t be continuing my Earwolf subscription, which kills me because listening to Jason Mantzoukas to fall asleep to every night is quite wonderful. Earwolf, just fix your app. Forget this Stitcher nonsense. 1. Search function is garbage. When I search “Farts and Procreation” it gives a Thanksgiving episodes. Come on guys. Get it together. 2. Eps don’t download, and if/when they do its impossible to find them. 3.If there’s a function to have it stop playing a podcast after a certain amount of time, I can’t find it. 4. Interface isn’t intuitive at all.
  • Better since the last update

    By teege12
The last update helped, but it’s still not the most intuitive thing. The sleep timer needs to have 5 and 10 minute settings like apple podcasts. I also found sometimes it would resume an episode like 15 minutes before you stopped listening the last time so it’s hard to find your spot. I probably wouldn’t use it if it weren’t for Teacher’s Lounge and Hollywood Masterclass.
  • I want to like stitcher but

    By Runtylime
Lately app does not remember where I left off on a podcast, starts from the beginning when I try to jump back in. Annoying, really. No rotate on interface.
  • Ugh

    By Roast Beef Guy
It does what it's supposed to, but poorly, so two stars. If I pause a podcast (which is frequent) I'm lucky if the app remembers where I left off and doesn't skip back 30 minutes or start over completely. Also, if the app is minimized for more than 2 minutes it returns to the home screen like you are just opening for the first time. The controls are garbage and there are zero features that makes this app stand apart from any other podcast app.
