  • Horrible app

I purchased this app so I can have another line on my phone, however when I was sending texts, most of them didn’t go through. When I contacted customer service, they were taking too long to respond, asking me to do a lot of work for them, for example to do tests for them to see if it’s fixed and it wasn’t fixed. It took hours from my part to help them resolve the issue and they never resolved it. This app is unreliable because you wouldn’t even know if the person has received your text or not. It’s 50/50, I know because I did endless tests on my personal phone. When I asked them to reimburse me, they refused saying they can’t since iTunes had charged me. So, really, it’s a waste of your 10$ and also they make it automatic renewal for you to continue paying and in order to remove it, you have to go through many steps, which is also a hassle. Do not recommend!

I just learnt that while Line2 begs customers to buy monthly or annual packages; if Line2 “ Ports” or Sells or Cancels your number for reasons unknown to you the customer? YOU LOSE you money. Buyers Beware: Line2 support service is the worst attempt at Customer Care agents like DAVID that Encountered. It Could Happen to You Soon!! This is the 2nd attempt to Defraud me of my annual fee with 4months left on my annual account. Now they Succeeded 3052406165!

I have been living internationally for the past two years.the fact that I can have a local phone number in my home state and be able to call almost anywhere that I need to do so is just marvelous. this app is worth the price that I pay. the service has been good and the phone calls that I make are excellent the majority of the time.

Started using Google voice but outgrew it after a year or so, ported over to Ringcentral but too expensive with all the fees. I've been on Line2 just a short while but can already tell this was the wise choice for iPhone, feature rich and wallet friendly.

Line2 meets our needs - offers proper extensions not just forwarding to a mobile phone.

Awful, constant glitching and downtime. Wish I had never gotten a line 2 number
  • A great replacement for Google Voice

It differs in a few ways, but there are no significant features that don't exist or have alternatives. On top of that, Line2 offers additional features with no equivalent in GV. This app lets me use my non-carrier wi-fi-only iPad as a phone and SMS device.
  • No customer support

I’m been waiting waiting on the phone for almost an hour trying to speak with someone in order to change the credit card on file. I lost my wallet a while back and had to change my card. There’s no way to do that online yourself, so I sent them an email requesting help, and then forgot about it since they never got back to me. Now my account is frozen and I can’t reach anyone for help. Worst customer support ever. Can’t believe they target business clients.
  • Good second Line for iPhone

I’ve been using Line2 for 3 years. It’s been great for making calls in the area code where I live because my iPhone’s number is from another state. People don’t answer when they see my iPhone number but will pickup with the local number. This is important because I work as a chaplain and need to reach people in time of crisis. Just wish the sound quality was better.
