Started out ok but couldn’t receive incoming calls (but would show up as missed in calls). Couldn’t text at all. Fortunately no money was wasted on this app but save yourself some time and skip this garbage
  • Worst app ever

The interface is horrible. The first time i had a call , the notice came up on my iPad , but NO WAY to answer since the accept this call notice didn't appear . I was using it for text support with another problem and they had to call me 3 times before i could answer it . I had used the TextMe app for awhile but it had so many annoying ads that i began looking for another app . I will just deal with the ads instead of this . Also i did get the most offensive spam i have ever had . A belligerent call from the SPAM IRS and FBI that i hadn't filed tax returns and was being "hunted" etc .. apparently this app doesn't have any "spam police" and gives ur number out freely to anyone . My brief experience with this app .. just download and take ur chances .

Doesn’t accept all calls, attempts to answer calls and then hangs up. I’ve answered calls and couldn’t hear like the call never connected but the time was running. Still needs some fixes and I bought the full version hoping it would eliminate these problems but I still can’t get my calls to connect.

I’ve been using FreeTone quite frequently for a number of years now. But one thing I noticed over the past year or two is that the prices keep going up and up! A couple years ago it was only $5.99 (or was it $4?) to renew a number, and early this year I spent $15 because I had just realized how close to expiration my number was. I looked out of curiosity a few minutes ago, and it’s raised all the way up to $19.99. Isn’t FreeTone supposed to be, well you know...free...???? I get that you want to profit off this app, but what ever happened to ad revenue? They already pop-up constantly anyway.. Altogether I have found this app very useful in some situations, but seeing the recent prices is a major turn off.

The app stopped making and connecting to phone calls. That was the whole reason I got the app. Calls say connecting then just drop. Have tried several numbers and even another number connected to the app. Also had someone else with the app try to make a call with the same result. Boo!!
