Have used this App for along time then one day when I got my Iwatch When I try to log in I just get the spinning log wheel and it just says logging in. It is so trusting I paid the $49 but when it is up don’t look like I won’t pay again. Frustrating 🥵

I just loaded this app today and have started to try to use it to track food intake and exercise. It locks up and becomes unresponsive very frequently when try to search for foods or activities. I’ve had to force quit and relaunch several times in one day. Not off to a good start. I hope the developer addresses this soon.

This app had a free version and a Premium subscription for $50/ year. I had a trial version of the Premium but forgot aboutthe auto renewal . I was surprised by the renewal charge appearing. there was no warning message or email. . While it is easy to cancel a subscription before the renewal, date, it was a bit of hassle to do it after the date. I contacted the Apple support and easily (I hope ) got the subscription cancelled and a refund. But it was a disruption to my day that I didn’t appreciate. If you do get the Premium mode, set a calendar reminder a few days before the renew date so you are not surprised. Other than that, it is a reasonable food tracking app with a large data base. It can scan the bar code and get the nutritional info. Exercise tracking is cumbersome. It does not list the nautilus equipment, or water aerobics. I will occasionally continue to use the free version when I need to check calories

MyFitnessPal is the best app on the market for nutritional tracking. It has numerous pros that keep it number one in my opinion, starting with the enormous food database that dwarfs every other app’s attempts to match it. I’ve logged in for almost 500 days in a row now, so I know the app inside and out. The unbeatable food database is what keeps me coming back. The other features, such as body weight and measurement tracking, are a nice bonus. Other apps do progress-tracking better, but that aspect is not very important to me. Another cool feature that I don’t use much is the recipe/meal creator that you can use to group foods together for quicker logging. Some people complain about the layout of FitnessPal looking “boring,” but I disagree (and couldn’t care less anyways). Let’s move on to the cons. Two things about this app drive me insane almost every day. First of all, it drains your battery like no other app on my phone. Expect to lose 10% of your battery after just a couple minutes of logging a meal. Second, the app crashes like nobody’s business - especially if you’re trying to meal plan and end up logging meals in future dates. Logging just a few days into the future sends the app in to panic mode; it crashes repeatedly when I log multiple foods on those days. In conclusion, MyFitnessPal is the best nutritional tracking app out right now. It’s not the best for tracking progress or workouts, but it’s #1 for the calorie and macro counters. Unfortunately, the best app on the market for nutritional tracking also happens to be extremely frustrating to use at times. Expect to lose serious amounts of battery and watch it crash time after time when meal planning for the future. All in all, this app is incredibly helpful but buggy enough to drive a meal planner like myself insane. I recommend MyFitnessPal to anyone looking to track nutritional information.

I’ve had MyFitnessPal for years, and I loved it! I use it religiously lol but recently every time I attempt to add a recipe it pops up a code “bad request (400)”. I’ve tried to refresh the app, delete it then re download and nothing. I’ve tried importing from different sites maybe thinking it was from a certain one and still having the same issue. Please please fix this!
