  • MyFitnessPal makes tracking food- super easy and fun

    A friend of mine told me about MyFitnessPal App and how it helped him lose a bunch of weight, so I figured I'd give it a try. I've been using the App for 3 weeks, I love the scan UPC feature, it takes the guess workout of calculating food nutrition and serving sizes. It's super easy to log your food from the home screen and I really like the weekly reports. It shows the progress and each week my weight has been dropping steadily. Thanks - MyFitnessPal for getting me on track on monitoring my diet and exercise program.

    This is great - recommended by my nutritionist as a way to hold myself accountable and learn about nutrition. Very different than dieting - tracks nutrition, exercise and helps monitor ups and downs in weight. Very good scanner and data base is full of many foods I eat or similar. Also I use “meals” to enter salads or similar that I repeat and can swap out components without re-entering all the basics. I’m very happy and so far down 5 lbs from beginning weight one month.

    When I decided to get serious about my health after a longtime neglect I implemented the use of this app. It was a great way for me to keep an eye on not only my total caloric intake but also on my macros. Because the app also takes into account your daily fitness it encourages the user to also perform more activity/exercise daily as well. The ease of the app is a result of its vast food library which saves time when inputting calories. Before the app I would write down all my daily calories; this has made it sooo much easier. Great app! Since March I have gone from 242lbs to 198lbs.

    The act of logging in what you eat each day makes you aware of exactly how much energy you are putting in your body and MyFitnessPal will show if you are burning that fuel off. This act of logging what one eats makes the user aware of their eating habits, thereby enabling them to lose weight and improve their health and well being. MyFitnessPal is easy to use and has become a “healthy habit” of mine. I’m excited to be using this App and looking forward to learn more about my eating habits as I improve my health.

    I’d be more than willing to pay for this app, but they refuse to add features people have been asking for. (Apple Watch complications specifically.) Every time I open the app I am prompted to set up apple health for my watch. I have. I did. Several times. What do you want from me????!
