Uber is a ridesharing app for fast, reliable rides in minutes—day or night. There’s no need to park or wait for a taxi or bus. With Uber, you just tap to request a ride, and it’s easy to pay with credit or cash in select cities. Whether you’re going to the airport or across town, there’s an Uber for every occasion. Uber is available in more than 500 cities worldwide—download the app and take your first trip today. Requesting your Uber is easy—here’s how it works: - Just open the app and tell us where you’re going. - The app uses your location so your driver knows where to pick you up. - You’ll see your driver’s picture, vehicle details, and can track their arrival on the map. - Payment can be made by credit card, cash in select cities, Apple Pay, PayPal, and more. - After the ride, you can rate your driver and provide feedback to help us improve the Uber experience. You’ll also get a receipt by email. Need a simple way to get from A to B quickly? Take uberX, our most affordable individual option. Want to save money on your ride? Take uberPOOL—you’ll travel with other riders headed your way and enjoy a lower fare. Want to elevate your experience? Take a high-end vehicle with UberBLACK. And there’s still more options—whether you’re traveling with a big group, or need a vehicle with accessibility features. • Excellent trips

Can’t say how great the idea of an Uber service has been to my travel itineraries. -timely -efficient -easy Thank you!
  • New updates are terrible

The app has gone down hill, re-downloaded Lyft. Love how they made the walk option default and not mention it. At least Lyft doesn’t make you run 3 blocks to catch a ride, and charge you a fee if you don’t make it in time. This is a ride service, not a gym.
  • Ripped Off

Poor Service in Dominican Republic. Driver never showed up. I watched the the map while waiting. Driver got lost. Went to the wrong street. Driver didn’t even text me and I was charged a cancellation fee. Called that a rip-off.

  • my Driver canceled the trip and I was charged a cancellation fee

    By annrob1212
this is the second time I’ve had a driver canceled the trip and I was charged a cancellation fee
  • Latest update has drivers not moving on the map

    By Maximusanrox
Nowadays doesn’t look like drivers move at all after you book a ride. They just stay there even if they’re actually coming.
  • Incomplete trip, missing items & no one getting back to me

    By #poorservice
Last Thursday, I used an Uber to have cookies delivered to a location. The item was picked up, but never delivered to the designated location and instead to somewhere we cannot find. The driver never contacted me to say he was having issues and I was unable to contact him. I raised this with Uber customer support and they just keep asking via some template email for account details which I keep responding to only to re-receive the same template email in response. Completely unprofessional and frustrating and I am now out over $250 for this fiasco with no one Uber taking any responsibility or at least trying to help. I’ve been an Uber customer since they started, but I think it’s time to check out Lyft....
  • Server Error issue due to disconnect cell number

    By kris_dy0000
After several times of attempts of fixing the issue, 8/10 for the response. At first, the troubleshooting of the was done outside of Uber’s help. It was more of understanding the issue that have or cause the problem. Attempted contact via phone support was lacking without the application access. The support via the E-mail was responsive, but very in-human in nature due to its Cut & Paste word for word response. In the end, I did reach my resolution at a point. Thank you very much, but I do not know which of the tech reps even solved my issue.
  • Cancel fee

    By bscheaffer68
I got charged for a cancellation when I was at my pick up spot, and calling the driver with no answer.
  • Scam?

I never use Uber, I even had to download the app to see what’s going on, I’ve been getting text messages from the company! Why?
