I see the same stories day after day. Not enough new news. Also, Hot Properties is buried under Business. What's up with that?

In the free LA Times version, when you click on an article, it should ask you if you want to proceed indicating the amount of articles you have left to read that month. I literally just downloaded the app, looking for a specific post from this morning, unaware of the 5 free articles a month, I clicked on 5 articles, no longer able to read any more. I kept seeing the number in the bottom increase but I simply thought it was an ad. I am very disappointed with this so called called app for local news.

Mostly about politics and all news is really bad, seems like the writers doing all fake news here.

Trying to get account information is difficult. Problematic problems accessing on multiple devices and platforms even when I logon and enter ID and password. Password will work in one device phone, but not desktop. Need to keep up LA times my Slate and Bloomberg apps work flawlessly and they are free. Trying hard to keep you.

Seems to work pretty much like other mainstream newspaper apps and works fine for me. The Times itself is a solid paper, of course, with particularly strong coverage on So Cal and the entertainment industry. I'm happy to be a digital subscriber.
  • One of the five most important news sources in America!

National coverage is original, not pulled and rehashed from a wire service. Good sports and lots of local scuttle butt.
  • Great format

  • No more pop up adds please

No more initial pop up adds, the most annoying type of adds and a reminder I'm paying too much for pop up adds each time.
