Learn and look up guitar chords and scales. Play electric and acoustic guitar, right on your iPhone or iPad. Record riffs, and share them with friends. Full fingerings show you which fingers to put where, with barres clearly labeled to get you up and down the fretboard. Built-in guitar lessons help you go from zero to guitar hero. Know how to play it but not what it's called? Reverse ChordFinder mode lets you tap the fretboard and identify any of the thousands of chords inside of ChordBank. Clean, clear interface makes choosing chords a snap. Full left handed support for all fingerings. Strum to hear any chord played from gorgeous, crisp audio samples. Sounds great from the iPhone speaker, or headphones to brush up on chords in private.

  • What happened?

This app used to be great and had tons of free content all of a sudden basic stuff you have to upgrade and pay a premium ...disappointing I have to delete it now.

  • This is a wonderful app.

This is an insanely useful app, especially for an intermediate guitar player. This is the first time I have ever paid the full price to get an app. It was worth it. Great job.
  • Find that finger shape

I found this app to help with remembering those uncommon chord shapes. Easy to use interface and it is easy to move up the neck to see if that song would be easier to play in another position.
  • Complete rip off

You can only see basic chord shapes, if you want to see anything like m7 you will have to upgrade... waste of time
  • Misleading information

    By Jglanc
You only get basic chord information. You have to pay for additional chords (Bflat7 chord is an additional cost). This is not clearly explained.
  • Awesome App!

If intervals were able to show on all positions of scales it would be perfect. Very nice!

I’m a beginner and found this app easy to follow and I recommend it highly. I go over the lesson using them as practice and learn something every time
  • Very Comprehensive

  • Bummed.

I did the first lesson, then realized you have to pay for more. So I ponied up for the full app at $15. We’ll, what do you know? Those 5 lessons you see? That’s all there is. And it’s about as beginner as beginner can be. If it kept going, I’d be thrilled. But now I’m just lost.
