Other google apps allow hyper linking but not gmail. This would be a highly useful addition!

Was a near perfect email app but after they added snooze function it has now mysteriously disappeared for some reason.

Please fix!!! I try again and again and sometimes succeed by replying to another email in the chain. Usually I need to reply to the specific email though. It has been several weeks. Let's go!!!

Reliable but now with a terrible layout and color scheme. Still using threaded view reminding us that Google is still NOT LISTENING!!!!

  • Annoying sales pitch for Chrome

I hate how when I click on a link in an email, I get a pop-up asking me if I want to download Chrome instead of opening the link in my default browser. Even when I ask not to be prompted again, the same annoying pop-up will resurface a few weeks later. You’re already profiting from my personal information—enough with the advertising already. Other than that the app works great.
  • Keep it simple to use!

I just tried to forward an email and couldn’t see a forward button. Used to be an arrow. Instead I see archive and snooze and all these other stupid buttons. I use gmail for personal use. Used to love it but they keep changing it to where you have to learn symbols instead of the simple reply/forward text. I can learn symbols just don’t like them. Just keeps getting too complicated like outlook which I hate. Gmail is great for if you want to save emails and find them later. But they are trying to make it fancy - it’s email!! Write, send, attach. We have too many other apps to deal with. Keep email interface simple! App shows all the inboxes at same time whereas in computer I was able to see primary email.
  • The app pales compared to iPhone's native mail app

I regularly receive unregulated emails to use the gmail app. I thought I'd address why I find it inferior to the app I had pre-installed on my phone: 1- The app only allows me to see messages dating back to a certain time. 2- the app does not allow me to multi-select or update multiple messages at a time. 3 - the load time it takes to reach older messages is interminable. The gmail app is adequate, but not a suitable replacement for the app that iPhone provides with the phone. The regular entreaties to use it more is a waste of your resources and my time.
