  • Love my Gmail in general

    By Let's meditate
I've tried other mail apps and some have different features that I like better and some that I don't like. But for consistency with a Gmail account I really have to stick with Gmail for my email.
  • Inneficient

Cannot swipe left and right inside an email to go to next email and previous email, respectively.

    Very good app to have.😊
  • Suggestions

    By BobbyJ007
Two huge suggestions that I can’t believe haven’t been fixed yet. Why can’t you swipe right or left on the unread emails to move to the next. Also, it requires too much swiping finger movement on the iPhone X left or right when changing emails in the inbox. Half the time it does not register to flip to next email.
  • It's great

  • Deleting mail issue

    By jgreenkee88
Every time I try to select multiple emails (~50) with the check circle, the app crashes and loses everything I just checked. Still happening all the time.
  • Can’t block email addresses in the app

    By Choccy Milk
With the amount of spam that make it through the filters, you really need to allow users to block email addresses within the app. This can (for some reason) be done in the Android app and on the computer, but not in the iOS app. Fix this.
  • Why does this app intermittently crash?

    By RobbyLeeRose
Have been using Gmail for a very long time and had been very satisfied with it until the past several months when it started to have intermittent crashes on my iPhone7. Very annoying – please fix. Also, wish there was a trash option for emails. Why do I have to first edit, select, then move and then choose trash when a simple trash bin at the bottom of the screen would take care of the extra motions? Why the left swipe doesn’t allow for move to trash is also a mystery to your users. Come on, Google - Bring back user-friendliness! Finally, the threads of emails are very confusing to most everyone I’ve spoken with, and especially to me. Why can’t it just be simple? Date order and that’s it! Whatever the thinking was in making it so cumbersome isn’t working, at least for me and those others I’ve discussed this with. Please take a look and see if you can make the screen more logical and intuitive. Thank you.
  • More Setting Options

    By JLD0003
Update for iPhone X! Also I need a setting option to customize where it directs me to (Inbox or the next email) when I hit the delete button. It always directs me back to the inbox and I would rather go to the next message.
