Description

CPT®QuickRef

The free app provides access to the following:
 • CPT Evaluation and Management (E/M) codes
• E/M Code Selection Wizard powered by AMA, CMS '95, and CMS '97 guidelines

E/M codes are the most frequently used codes and arguably the most difficult to assign. The E/M Wizard will help physicians and qualified health care professionals select the right code according to AMA and CMS coding guidelines.

Two premium products are available for purchase and offer great benefit to coders, billers, payers, educators and students, and health care consultants.

 Coding and Billing Pack
• The entire CPT code set for 2017 and 2018
• A Medicare Physician Fee Schedule calculator that can be set to your specific geographic region
• 4,200 clinical examples/vignettes
 • 200+ full-color, AMA-created procedural illustrations
 • Modifiers
• Official coding guidelines from the CPT Editorial Panel

 CPT Assistant Archive
• An archive of all CPT® Assistant newsletter articles published from 1990 through 2017
• Links from CPT codes to the most relevant CPT Assistant articles

The CPT QuickRef app and its premium products put all the coding and billing tools that you need in the palm of your hand. Developed by the American Medical Association, this on-the-go reference guide quickly helps you determine the appropriate Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) codes to use for accurate billing. (This app provides suggested codes. Final code selection remains the responsibility of the individual user.)

AMA Members receive special discounts; tap the “Login for AMA Member discounts” item on the app’s dashboard.

This app is a total waste of memory on my device. There are numerous free apps that work much better. Stay away

Type in a CPT to search and nothing happens. Deleted the app and re-downloaded, no luck.
  • Free version is worthless

Open search for keywords and goes to numeric search only. Worthless as the AMA.
  • Worthless App

Quick reference in a pig's eye. Very difficult to navigate and can never find the code I'm looking for. Used the free version - wouldn't even think about paying good money for this worthless crap, I mean app. If there was a 0.1 star I would use it or even a negative -5 Star. Can you feel my disgust with this program?

This app is user friendly and seamlessly transitions from one feature to the next. This is now my go to CPT resource! Bravo AMA-CPT!

CPT QuickRef is like having two CPT code books in my back pocket! I travel a lot and having this app loaded on my iPhone eliminates the need for me to pack the 2016 and 2017 CPT books. Code lookup is simple and the format is easy to follow. CPT QuickRef is patterned after the CPT book itself, with familiar icons, parentheticals, and chapter organization. I love the one-tap access to supplemental MPFS and CPT Assistant info. And since it is from the AMA, I know the contents are official, and correct.
  • Beware updating! Now payware

Used to be a very useful freeware app. Now payware and not at all worth what they're asking. Bummer, it was the one thing I found useful from the AMA.
  • What a ripoff!

Recently downloaded this app and loved it so much I paid for the additional upgrade. Less than a week later the app was updated and the package I paid for is now broken down into 2 packages one being $60 the other $40. The extras I previously paid for are gone and the only way to get it back is to pay up again. For me it's no longer worth it...
