  • They Don’t Even Care!!

    I don’t think they read any of these reviews because it’s been a long time since I’ve used the app and it was horrible then, and I came back to see if it’s changed and it’s just awful still. All the pictures are distorted and blurry and not in high res. Worst mag app!!
  • Crap Ap

    This app won’t even load my subscription. Just shows a blank screen with the spinning wheel. I will be requesting a refund.
  • Doesn’t remember where I am

    Aside from all the other issues people have mentioned, my biggest beef with this app is that if I’m reading an issue, then come back to it a few days later, the app has reset essentially, so I have not only pick the issue again that I was reading, but try to remember where I left off. Before they switched to this awfully written app, the old one had no problems like that, and would immediately open to where I was.
  • Used to be a good app, what happened?

    Digital service has been consistently unavailable so you can’t log in to verify account, can’t even contact customer service to find out what to do to fix issue. I don’t even know how long I’ve been a subscriber and being able to read digitally is a big sell. This is very disappointing and should be embarrassing to the company.
  • Used to be ok. Now it’s awful

    This app used the be ok for reading the magazine. Now it’s way too slow and doesn’t hold your place in the magazine. Every time you come back you have to page through and find your place. This seems like a bare minimum functionality and it no longer exists in this app. Horrible
  • A complete joke

    This app is a total disaster. I have an account, get magazines mailed to me every week, but can never get my subscription to work online. I am not even sure an intern is staffing the AppStore department at EW. Another sign that the mainstream magazine world will soon cease to exist. The app is an utter embarrassment for EW.
  • Worst Magazine App Ever! Such A Waste

    None of the functions in the Setting work. If you need to restore your subscription purchases through iTunes - forget it. Wasted so much time trying to get my subscription restored/recovered by iTunes and via the App restore function or via the “contact us” option which basically after several tries with no resolution or even a reply acknowledgement -I gave up. Guess the next step is to just cancel this e-Magazine altogether!
  • Why do I always need to re-login?

    I’m constantly needing to re-login to download new issues. This is super annoying. It also doesn’t remember my login credentials. Get with the times, EW!
  • Soooo sloooooooooow

    I think this app runs on dial up. Pretty much need to tap everything three times before you get to see the spinning wheel for a few solid minutes. Now it won't even let me log in anymore
  • Going back to paper

    As many have pointed out, the new app is horrible. I used to love your app and even used it as an example of what a magazine app should be like. Now, it's unusable. No way to bookmark or return to where you left off. No more hyperlinks to view videos, trailers, purchase books etc. To delete an issue it's now multiple steps. Hate the distracting swipe up for reader view on every page. And I now often receive my paper copy before the digital is even available. I find myself reading the paper copy more and more often. Why did you ruin such a great app???
