    I've read The Week on-line for years, but their new app is so unpleasant I've gone back to the paper copy. The story I want to read is how they chose to replace a good app with poor font, bad layout, and clunky moving-around....I want the blow-by-blow account of this ridiculous mis-step!

    Please bring back “tap” on a word feature to Select copy, save, define, etc. Also ability to tap and enlarge photos. Would make it 5 stars again!
  • New App is awful

    I’ve been a long time subscriber and have enjoyed the highly creative and useful navigation. Particularly on my ipad. Why ever did you abandon such a great design to the new app which is one long (irritating) swipe, after swipe, after swipe with no index to move around the issue. Tedium.
  • Cannot view any issues

    With the latest update I cannot load any content, loading wheel just keep spinning and spinning. It does not matter if I restart the iPad, re-launch the app, or keep signing in to “restore purchases”. So for two weeks I cannot even read this magazine. Please fix !!!

  • New version isn’t working — content barely loads

    Love the new “you can’t find the index” feature. You swipe right, and all you see is a headline — like the Cheshire cat’s smile — then the comet finally loads. Also stunning: now Movies on TV” shows you last week’s movies you missed! An unmitigated disaster. Why did the side-index go away? Now I can’t find anything — where are the instructions? Reviews in App Store are not in chronological order.
  • The new update ruined the mag

    None of the pages load after download I’ve deleted the redownloaded the app, restored purchases, redownloaded issue....and none of the pages load. Why did u ruin a perfectly good app. I love the mag. What I don’t love is that I can no longer read it. Please fix this. Don’t people test the update before publishing it?
  • New update is bad!

    Did you bother trying this update before releasing it? The user interface is clunky and most of the time, it refuses to download the issue. At least on my iPad (the same one I’d been successfully reading The Week on for years), I just get a few articles’ pictures in the contents but only a constant “spinner” on the articles themselves under a bold black title. Go back to the old version till you fix this one...please!

    I’ve enjoyed reading The Week cover to cover for several years and looked forward to its arrival on Fridays. But this new format is so clunky as to be unreadable. If it is not fixed soon I will need to cancel our subscription.
