  • Something Went Wrong

Since a recent update, arranging a list in the “Select & Edit Items” mode now requires you tap & hold on an item much longer than necessary. As long as you tap and hold the bars on the far right of an item, an item should be ready to drag immediately. But the app now requires you hold the bars for 2+ seconds before the item can be moved. (A similar problem affects dragging single items when not in the aforementioned more.) This makes arranging a list, and thus using the app, frustrating and unnecessarily time-consuming. (Experiencing this issue on iPhone X)
  • So convenient

My favorite of all list apps I’ve used. Super intuitive, always improving.
  • The app is good, but....

    By Mr. Mancuso
I gotta be honest here. The app is pretty good if you use is it with others (spouse, kids, roommates, etc). My problem is this... since I bought a Series 3 Apple Watch, I don’t carry my phone around as much anymore. If I go to the grocery store and open up the AnyList app, I get an absolutely ridiculous message asking me to upgrade to a premium version of the app to view my lists on the watch. In my opinion this is absolutely disgusting being that I pay for cellular service to the watch and can’t use the app, and I pay for cellular service on my phone and can use the app. Give us a break guys, I’m deleting your app from my 3 devices, my wife’s 2 devices and my 2 kids devices because of your ignorance and greed 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 I will also stop recommending this app to people as there are many many other options out there that do the same thing, and even better!
  • Best household management app I own

    By Edandjeny
I honestly have no negatives for this app. I have been using it for about 1.5 years. I love the real time updates to the lists, the amount and type of list, etc. I keep an old iPad in the kitchen so everyone in the family can add to the grocery list as we think of things and look up recipes when needed. I love that I can add photos for items to make them easier for my husband to find, when he goes the grocery shopping. This app is perfect for people who don't like to shop, because you can divide and conquer with someone and get the shopping done in the 1/2 the time. My husband and I do this and we never get the same item, thanks to the real time updates on the app. About 6 months into using AnyList, I subscribed to the meal planning part of the app. I friggin love it. For one, it’s $5.99 a year, not $20 a month, or $70 a year, like some other subscription based food apps. It makes meal planning and making my grocery list a breeze. (AnyList, please keep that affordable for real people who can’t afford expensive subscriptions) Using the recipe storage and the meal planning calendar saves me sooo much time and energy. The app has seriously replaced Pinterest and eMeals for me. I can go in and edit the recipes, add notes, rate them, etc. My family has access to the lists and meal plans as well. Oh, you can now use Siri to add things to your list, which is helpful when have food on your hands. I told him to add cumin to my grocery list and he set a reminder to add it next time I launched the app. (my Siri is a British male) AnyList keeps working on updates too!
  • Can’t recommend enough

    By JLMower
With eating a special diet it can get so hard to stay on top of meals but with this I can easily look at recipe ideas, add them to my meal plan, and add any ingredients I need to the shopping list and hen both my husband and I have the meal plan and shopping list.
