I use the Remind app to communicate with my students and their parents every single day. Many parents have told me how much they appreciate my text messages from Remind.

That app is really good it helps me stay connected to my friends
  • Cannot locate unread messages

The app itself is great. However, for years, I’ve constantly had an alert on the app icon saying i have unread messages. There should be something I can click to view unread messages only so I can clear those out.
  • Good interface, starts up too slow

The app and service is great, and I kept the app installed to manage my account, but I switched to SMS text for push notifications, disabling the apps push notifications. I need to access the notifications quickly, and the app startup is around double what I'd want it to be to be "quick". Once loaded it's great and responsive. It's just the startup speed that's bothersome.
  • Limited characters

Is there a reason we can only write a couple of words per text? Plus, even though we put in the recipients name, it may change based upon another name they may have chosen if already using the app. There is no way of seeing the phone number put in. Great idea. Poorly executed app. I had received a reasonable response to my questions/ complaints. Still frustrating though. I will try out the premium version. Thank you.

As a classroom teacher, this app has become my main source of communication with the parents of my students. I don’t know what I’d do without it.
