  • Awesome app

This was a great way to explore NYC. I took the pizza tour and ate a lot of awesome pizza for under a few $ per slice; took a Beatles tour, and then a ghost tour at night the next day. When we walked to each place the phone started talking us immediately. Really convenient way to tour around a place. The last 1-star reviews look fake, don’t worry- there are no “pop ups” in this app at all- I saw no advertisements here. And of course it’s not in landscape view, so what.

We took the Breaking Bad tour in Albuquerque and saved about $100 if we took the other one in town and got to see more places apparently. A really good deal, and we'll use it in other places too. Definitely worth the $2/month cost of subscription! I wish they had more places, at about 80 now, but I know they seem to be adding new places every week!

I have really enjoyed using this app during my traveling! The tours are comparable if not exceeding the quality and information of an in person tour! As someone who loves to travel, I have definitely had the unfortunate experience of a boring, uninformative, or miserable tour! With this app, I can take a tour at my convenience, using the gps to guide me. I lived in Williamsburg for many years, and I have even used the app for colonial Williamsburg tours - I was thoroughly impressed by the information and presentation of the tour! It's something that I can definitely use over and over again whenever I come back to visit, without having to fight another crowd of tourists, have to deal with the ticketing process, or deal with having a terrible tour guide. I'm very very excited for the potential of this app to expand to other interesting locations. The tours are affordable, and you definitely get your money's worth. It's definitely one of my top 5 app finds this year! Try it without hesitation, you won't regret it!

So glad a friend recommended this app to me! I travel frequently for work, and this app has been my go-to companion while exploring and learning about the cities I'm visiting. Instead of paying a different tour service for each attraction I'm interested in, I can take tours at my own convenience using this app. Each stop on a particular route has a both a detailed written description, as well as an audio recording, that explain its significance and provides little known facts and entertaining tidbits about it. It truly is a 'virtual tour guide in your pocket', as mentioned in the app description. My first tour was 'Haunted Boston' while staying in the city on business and I was immediately hooked. I drove to Salem the next day to take the 'Salem Ghost Tour.' Both were equal parts spooky and historically rich. Now the first thing I do when I find out I'm going to be traveling to a new city is look up the tours available there on iTourMobile. I also love using the 'Explore' feature, which tells you about places of interest near your location. Tip: Try it in your own town, you'll be surprised how many neat attractions are right at your fingertips! Keep the awesome tours coming, iTour!
  • Great app for exploration and discovery

I am somebody who loves both travel and exploring my local area. I also like to remain independent, and tend to avoid guided group tours and similar activities. This app is perfect for me, with a variety of extensive, GPS guided tours that help me learn and discover what an area has to offer on my own, using nothing but my phone. Whatever your traveling style, it is hard to imagine this app not being extremely useful. The practicality of this app feels almost futuristic. Highly recommended!
