  • No more passwords

    By Pljhfh
After two decades of not storing my passwords anywhere but my head, with a rolling system of password changes to (sort of) keep me from forgetting them, my research of 1Password finally convinced me there's a home for my login credentials. Thank you, 1Password. It's true, if I wanted the full version and syncing between devices, etc., I would have to add another subscription service. Simply can't afford that, but at least they had a single device option for free. Better than a notepad. Fast forward 3-6 months of enjoying my fingerprint security via iOS. I woke up one morning and it was gone. For some reason, my interface has no option to sign in with my fingerprint. Been doing it so long I forgot my master password, now the only one I need. No thank you, 1Password. Your subscription service and apparent act of pulling the rug out from under all my credentials will cause me to withdraw the recommendations I made to my friends on the fence. I think you should find a new business model. You won't see the (many) customers I would have continued to recommend. Factor that into your budget.
  • Just superb all around

    By DrGForce
Since 1Password does not prompt me in the app for a review, I’m writing one voluntarily. I’ve been using some form of this app (mac, iOS) since 2007 and it’s always been superb in every way: function, appearance, and developer support. I would highly recommend this app as your password manager.
  • Best Password Manager

    By JD Matlock
This is the best password manager for Mac, iOS, and Windows. Dropbox integration makes it work with Windows flawlessly. The new OTP/two-factor support in iOS let me delete one more app (and finally backs up my two-factor tokens so I don't have to worry about losing them). Edit: 2 years after above review. Still love it. The addition of the web based 1Password.com a while back makes it even better, since I can now get to my passwords on Linux, and I no longer have to depend on Dropbox. ❤️
  • Keeps Asking For Master Password

    By fugly_mofo
After updating to iOS 11 the app annoyingly ignores master password settings; keeps asking for it even though I have it set to only ask for it “after device reset”. Seems to ask for it again every couple hours. Very annoying!
  • Prompts for password in iOS 11

    By seanwolter
Since upgrading to iOS 11 my Touch ID settings are ignored and my password is required at seemingly random intervals. I have it set to prompt for password on reboot. It worked fine for years. I looked on the support forum and saw two other people with the same problem, but there was no response as of yesterday evening. I love you 1Password. Please fix this or work around Apple’s mistake.
  • Best password app!!!

    By MrsKEB
I was a very early adopter of 1Password. I’ve yet to be disappointed. Every update has added more and more functionality to the app. We are almost entirely digital and that means remembering too many passwords. 1Password is so convenient and reliable.
  • Makes me feel secure

And not be worried about remembering the dozens of passwords in my head. Keep up the good work.
  • Approaches perfection

    By msh1956
1Password has been my password manager on my iOS devices and my Macs for years. It has always been excellent, and it just keeps getting better as the developer fixes problems I didn’t know I had. It enhances security in many ways, including not only random password generation with granular controls, but also protection against phishing (1Password will only fill a password field on the website for which the password was created), detection of weak and duplicate passwords on the Mac, and other features. Notwithstanding the developer’s focus on security and the sandboxing restrictions of iOS, the app is remarkably well-integrated with Safari, Chrome, and some other iOS apps. And for apps that are not designed to work with 1Password, the new implementation of drag and drop and multitasking in iOS 11 make it even easier to use on iOS.
  • One of the few MUST HAVE apps

The best password manager, period! I have it for my iPad, iPhone and iMac.
  • From 5 Stars To 1

...and now it’s a monthly fee for doing nothing more than what it always did.
