  • Must call to cancel, at least during trial

This app was not for me, but when I decided to cancel before my trial was up, it indicated I need to call to cancel, this is unacceptable, it is clear they are trying to get at least one payment out of you

I absolutely love this app. The cook mode and the shopping list that links to my clicklist are amazing! This has helped my budget and allowed me to try delicious new recipes.

Supposed benefits: 1. Save $$ 2. Save time 3. Get out of a rut 1 and 2: The ingredient lists are really long for the recipes. You’ll bring home this overwhelming number of items- 3 different fresh herbs, 6 different fresh veggies, ect. There were a few weeks when I couldn’t fit all the produce called for in my fridge. Obviously, you can’t buy like that and save. It was actually more than I usually spend. Then I make the meals and they’re very meh for all that. After a few weeks worth of this, I start leaving extraneous ingredients out, or skipping the meals that don’t look good, which defeats much of the purpose. 3: Think you’re going to try new things, maybe learn some tricks? Recipe: Raspberry Molasses Chicken. Wow, that sounds awesome! Someone really must be creative cook to think of that combination! Ingredients: 1 jar of raspberry molasses. Let that sink in a minute. 1 jar of ready-made. Raspberry. Molasses. I looked past all kinds of stupid tricks like calling for a pineapple that has been cored, but not otherwise cut- as though that’s something I can buy- so they can pretend a recipe that’s going to take an hour can take 20 minutes. But raspberry molasses, a product? Yeah, I’m out.

I chose the 30 minutes family meals and Wal mart pick up. The ap could not find a wal mart in my zip code so I entered “12345” and then it worked. The recipes are so easy to follow and really taste good. I subscribed for the year. The ap is very easy to use I hope that with future updates they add something where you can put in your own recipes. My other suggestion would be that if multiple recipes use the same ingredient that it combine them in the list. It does for produce but it didn’t for cheese. I would also like to be able to edit the amount it makes as each one I have cut in half.

Let me count the ways!! This app is so very helpful for me and the recipes are delicious! Even my extremely picky family thinks so!! I especially like that it sends the ingredients to another app for me to do my shopping online. It saves me oodles of time!

Because someone else has gone to all the trouble to plan our HEALTHY meals, family members are able and willing to pitch in and help prepare meals. No more whining about having the same things over and over! Well worth the $5 a week!!

I love this app, and how I can easily select meals for my family, shop via Kroger clicklist and then pick everything up. Saves so much time AND money since I’m not wandering through the store buying Little Debbies!! We’ve tried meals from the vegan, vegetarian and low carb menus, to name a few. I found the vegan meals to be repetitive or too similar to one another. Now that we’re focusing more on Low Carb, I am excited to see some nutritional information that wasn’t available with the vegan and vegetarian plans. PLEASE consider adding Nutritional information on ALL plans! Would be extremely helpful to include at least calories, fat, fiber, and carbs on all recipes!! (Even better - partner with MyFitnessPal to easily input meals. Hello - dream come true!!)

We like eMeals and have been using it for over a year. However, if you want to cancel your subscription or any of the add on subscriptions as in our case, you have to call their customer service during business hours. You can’t do it online and you can’t email. This is a real annoyance. It certainly is not for the benefit of the customer. This is scam territory, eMeals. I hope you are listening.
