MileIQ automatically tracks and records your mileage in the background as you drive your car for business. MileIQ users save an average of $6,900 per year. Tracking your miles for tax deduction purposes? MileIQ is the easiest most accurate way to create logs that follow IRS mileage standards. Easy to Use. Loaded with Features. Two of the biggest mistakes manual paper log keepers make is not maintaining a contemporaneous mileage log and mixing their business miles with personal miles. Inaccurate record keeping can result in rejected mileage deduction claims and IRS penalties. Automatic Mileage Detection MileIQ creates an accurate, contemporaneous record of the miles you drive for work. Automatic drive detection means no stopping and starting the app. No need for manual paper logs.  Accurate Mileage Tracking Features like Name Your Location and One Swipe Classification give your tax-deductible mileage records the accurate details they need to pass IRS scrutiny. A Custom Fit No matter whether you're tracking miles for reimbursements or tax deductions, MileIQ gives you the tools and flexibility to create mileage record details that reflect the miles you drive. • Personalize each drive with vehicle names, job numbers or any designation that fits your business • Use bulk editing to give groups of drives a single purpose • Use Frequent Drives to auto-classify the drives you make most often • Add drives, delete drives, duplicate drives, and more Making Your Business Mileage Count The 2017 standard IRS mileage rate of 53.5 cents per mile driven for business, 14 cents for charity and 17 cents for medical mileage. MileIQ calculates your largest mileage tax deduction. For example, let’s say you drive 1,000 or 10,000 miles for business using the standard mileage rate of 53.5 cents you’d be entitled to a mileage deduction of $535 or $5,350. Detailed Records of Every Drive A mileage log is only as good as the reports it generates. Stored securely in the cloud, MileIQ sends weekly mileage reports directly to your inbox. Need more specificity, use the web dashboard to generate custom reports.  • 20.9 billion miles logged with MileIQ • 60 million hours saved from manual logging • $2.5 billion in mileage deductions and reimbursements Join Millions of Drivers Who’ve Saved Billions of Dollars using MileIQ Try MileIQ for free. Mileage logs that meet IRS mileage deduction standards Battery Consumption MileIQ consumes almost no power when stationary (as it quickly goes to "sleep"), and it will only minimally increase battery consumption when in transit. To achieve this minimal battery usage, MileIQ uses smartly constructed formulas to detect drives rather than only using GPS (which requires more power) for location data. • Very easy to use and stress free

I enjoy the fact that I don’t have to remember to write my beginning and ending miles each time I drive. It’s easy to use and extremely helpful.
  • A lifesaver

This app is a life saver. As a small business owner it’s important for me to log my miles for taxes and I’d never be able to manage it accurately otherwise. Love the auto classify function too!
  • Excellent for business owners

No more carrying a journal! Super convenient and easy to use!
  • Business Appropriate and Love the reports

I don’t log the business vs personal trips every day but I like how I can classify trips and it will automatically do it for me on repetitive trips now. Monthly reports make it easy to manage for accounting purposes.
  • Keeps track of driving very well

    By Jfp2081
Does a great job keeping track of driving. The one thing I wish is sometimes I make a quick stop and I notice I have to wait at the location for a few minutes (about 3-5 min) for the app to recognize this was a stop. Wish there was a way I could manually tell the app I’ve stopped and arrived at my destination in an effort to count it as a trip immediately. instead I have to wait for the app to internally recognize a stop has been made to then log the trip. Not a big deal because I usually do email or return a phone call while I wait for the app to show the trip, but would be better if I could log it immediately instead of working around the app software. In the end it’s easier than a scratchpad or manual log!
  • Almost perfect

    By Lbernke
This app is great and gets the job done. The classification of drives is a little funky though. I don’t see the value in classifying personal drives (but I could be missing something), and I wish I could better classify business drives.
  • Works well for my kind of business driving

    By Genisa1
Helps me keep track of my driving. A few things that would make it even more useful: 1. the ability to easily add a toll charge and then auto classify that toll for the month for frequent business drives for a given month. 2. Help the app to recognize a similar, previously auto classified, business drive if it only has one stop, such as a stop for gas. Then prompt the user to recognize it as a similar business drive prior to classifying. I think that would help a user to classify the drive quicker.
  • Reap rewards

Mike IQ was brought to my attention while in class. It was a game changer in my life. It was really tedious to keep up with on my own so to have it recorded automatically and by a swipe makes a report is perfect for my busy life. With work and school I forget about it most of the time. I will be honest tho I wish it read locations better and at times it doesn’t read my drives.
  • Works but has issues/annoying

    By Box317
It does a decent job. I keep track and its pretty close to exact but its annoying to use and has to always be on to work. Dumb app developers
