  • Lost functionality

After this update I can no longer share a file. This Bug has come and gone before, I wonder if they do any QC testing? Perplexed.
  • Missing to many functions

    By Corrieash
I use Excel everyday for my job, just not the iPad version. One thing that is very annoying, is the size of the drop down menu box. I can only see about a 3rd of what is in the box!
  • Macros in excel

    By fabriciogonob
It’s cant work macros in excel by apple
  • iPad Excel is pretty good and helpful

On the whole, iPad Excel fills a need, but differences from PC Excel can be confusing and less than helpful. For example, the missing “copy format” function is a reason to get out of bed and head for the PC. Other features that do not work the same way are either board to find or missing.
  • Why not like in Windows 10

    By Raym no2
Not bad but missing a lot of features. I would like to have the full version (ok less the more than one person working on a file at a time) and “pay” Microsoft for it. I am retired individual I can save to buy special items but can not afford monthly subscription services. This is available with windows 10 but not IOS.
  • You have to re-open the app every single time

    By kate473
You have to re-open the app every single time if you switched to the other app is a pain... Sometimes it can take more than a min to open the app, it’s so inconvenience, this app requires you to stay in the page otherwise it would shut down itself automatically immediately. For me, my work is like have to do switching between apps. I bought the online 365 student version, and always use online editing, but it just ask me to re-open the app again and again makes me frustrated. The older version wasn’t like this. It changed since the last 2 update. I want the older version back!!!!
  • Open file doesn’t stay open...

    By Steven Zyler
after a couple of minute or so when switching back to Excel from the home screen or another app. The file then has to be downloaded and opened again rather than just resuming with the current, open file. This started with the version before this. Otherwise it’s fabulous.
  • Crippled out of the gate.

Without macros or VBA you might as well be using Google Sheets. Worthless.
  • Wonderful

Works great on my iPhone 8 Plus.
  • Still no fix for dictation issue

    By inthesand
I was hoping today's release would fix the issue with dictation in iOS 12. It doesn't. If you open word or excel And hit the microphone button, the app will freeze and crash. Doesn't seem to affect PowerPoint. I've tried it on two different iPads and iPhones with the same result. I've also seen reviews here posted about it and on the Microsoft forum. Right now I'm using WPS Office. It works fine with dictation and can access onedrive, dropbox, google drive etc. The only issue I've found so far with the spreadsheet in WPS Office is the inability to create and edit tables. But then again it doesn't crash when I press the microphone button so thumbs up there. I would think for word users, this would be a major issue
