  • As always the premier spreadsheet program

Ever since I was a kid, and at risk of dating myself i vaguely recalls using the MS suite on the Macintosh with the built in monitors (at high school atleast, though at home I was stuck with the Apple //e and Bank Street Writer, and if you remember that you've just been dated as well...) My point being, ever since computers arose out of the proverbial primordial silicon pond scum, nothing has come close to matching Excel and the whole MS suite!

I’ve been using this app for 3 years without a problem. Now I need an MS Office Subscription to edit cells. Are you kidding me? Change whatever you want for new downloads, but if it’s been free to use for 3 years don’t start trying to charge the people who already have it. This is exactly why I don’t but MS products. Gouging.

The fact that I can make a one time payment for the same program on my laptop but have to pay a monthly subscription to use it on my iPad is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. It’d be different if it was just another one time payment. And is exactly why I refuse to use this on my iPad.

I was expecting the same kind of experience I get on a PC. But, on the iPhone you get isolated applications. A real disappointment in this regard.
