  • Pretty Good

    By Blossoming Black Flower
The content of the app is good, overall. I like the variety of yoga instructors and classes available. And I’ve learned a lot for my home practice. My only issue *was* with canceling my subscription, but the team was prompt with helping me out.
  • No response from support

    By Jackyani
I emailed the support team a month ago and no response. Also saw an advert for upgrading to yearly subscription for less than 14$ per month. But when I am logged into actual app,I see no options for this. Emailed support again. We will see how that goes. Disagree with a previous comment that claims lack of diversity and skinny white girls. People that teach yoga are skinny. Also seen several curvy ladies and brown and black instructors. Just saying. Also, needs major help with filtering options Also needs way more beginner classes and longer classes as a whole. Other than that I do like the app. I live in a very small town workout options are sparse. But if I lived anywhere near a yoga class or studio not sure if I would use it
  • No one sweats

    By joshuaa.
I signed up for their 14 day free trial and watched about 12 videos. I do Baptiste and intense vinyasa and everyone in the room has a water bottle and sweat on their mat- more so in heated rooms but in cooler rooms also. Where is the sweat? Wheat is the water? I don’t understand!
  • killing phone storage - not zen

    By spiritechie
I have one video, one class, carrier over from CodyApp. Since it became AloMoves, I still only have 1 video,-!: the storage on my phone goes beyond 2GB. For reference, I have over 2500 photos/video for only 2.2GB. Also, any time I’ve accessed this app, it overheats the device. So hot that it crashes. Not so zen.
  • Not easy to cancel membership

    By k)crueihfwiurbfsiuehfsiurh
I am still trying to cancel my membership. It doesn’t show up in my app subscriptions, there is no way to do it through the app and there is no phone number to call and I am still waiting on someone to email me back. Very disappointed. Not only a waste of money, but now they are wasting my time.
  • Great app but should be cheaper

    By Dead fan 13
Great app but should be $9.99 not $19.99.
  • Filtering options no good

I’m a certified yoga instructor, and I practice yoga regularly at various studios in LA. Class times are typically 60-75 mins long, so that leads to a few deal breaker issues with this product: #1 Why is it impossible to filter classes by class length? I don’t want to piece together a bunch of random 15 or 20 minute workouts. I just want to find 60-70 minute long classes and pick one. I don’t want to dig around endlessly for a class time that I want. #2 Who is this product made for? The yogis featured in all the marketing material and screen shots are *very* advanced. They’re all doing handstands and crazy acrobatic backbends. That’s really great that they can do that, but guess what? Your average person can’t do that stuff. I would consider myself an advanced practitioner, and even for me the marketing material makes this product feel inaccessible for someone who just wants to find an online flow for the times when I can’t make it to a studio. #3 Since it seems this product is made for advanced yogis, why are there so many 15-20 minute classes? Last I checked, anyone who has a dedicated yoga practice doesn’t do yoga for a few minutes; they want a full practice. #4 The layout of this product can use an overhaul along with the filtering options. #5 How about add some students into the videos so the instructors can demo adjustments and students can also preform multiple variations of each pose? It’s weird to listen to an instructor while they’re also doing the flows.
  • Talented teachers, corporate vibe, lacks diversity

    By Audz83
Ever since Cody App became Alo Moves, the app usability has suffered. I can’t find the workouts I want to, which now seem buried in weird locations. I also miss the diversity of teachers the app used to have and I agree with another reviewer who notes the thin, overwhelmingly white, model-physique of the yogis. It also feels like one big Alo Yoga ad, and the corporate vibe does not jive well with the mindfulness of yoga. Though I love teachers like Mackenzie Miller and Koya Webb, it may be time to say goodbye and reinvest in my local yoga teachers and studios.

Love the fact that I can practice at home and have access to so many amazing teachers. This app has truly changed my life. That being said, however, the app itself is supper glitchy. When I have my iPad propped up on its case/cover after I click on a video to practice the screen turns upside down, even with lock rotation on. It takes forever to get it to turn right side around again. And when I go to my profile instead of opening at the top of my page it sends me several months back and I have to scroll back up. Little irritating. And I really miss the Cody App feature of when you click on a class series it would say if you’ve logged any of those classes before. I keep getting confused about which class I’m on. Bring it back pretty please?
  • I never leave reviews

    By Boxane
I have used a lot of online exercise classes, health apps, workout videos etc. I live 1 hour from the closest rural town and my options are limited. I am a certified Ashtanga teacher and enjoy my personal practice but I want more. This is hands down the best app I’ve ever used. The sound and video quality is great I have thoroughly enjoyed almost every teacher I’ve tried a class from. The videos aren’t cheesy, their rating of difficulty seems accurate and they offer so much variety. I’m so stoked I downloaded this. I did it because I’ve always wanted to take a class from Erin Kelly but live super far from her so i took her core strengthening class and it was great she’s super funny and an excellent teacher. From there I tried yin classes HIIT classes and more yoga. I’m thrilled.
