  • So versatile.

I started out just wanting an app that I could make notes on the recipes. I tried a couple other free apps, but finally took the chance & bought this one. I love that I can take pictures of my recipe as it progresses right through the finished product & import them into the app. I like that I can get recipes from the web & add my own notes. And that I can just type a recipe from memory if I don’t have it written down anywhere. I like that I can add my own categories to fit my cooking style. I even discovered that I can take photos of staples, spices & other ingredients & import them as lists so I can easily check to see if I’m low on flour or if I have 3 bags of sugar waiting for me to use. *My only suggestion would be if the photos could be re-ordered once they’ve been imported to a recipe. As it is now, if I forget a photo of a step in the process I have to delete the ones I’ve already imported, import the forgotten photo, then re-import the ones I just deleted.* Otherwise, I’m very happy with this app’s versatility. 👍
  • Useful App

I’m finding this recipe app useful and easy to use. I’ve mostly copied recipes from the internet, then entered them into Recipe Gallery when it prompts me, but I also type in vintage family recipes. I like that editing is easy, and that I can add an image.

It’s so nice to add photos and to be able to cut & paste the recipes. It’s a cinch to share a recipe and if I am at the store & need an ingredient list it’s right there on my phone!

This app does just about everything. You can import photos, take photos, add web links, manually type notes, etc. very easy and smooth. The categories are basic and you can make your own as re are two ways to view your recipes in a list format or a icon format. Customer service is friendly and good. You actually interact with a real person with a personality!! Wow. Creating a recipe file online takes time so I add recipes just every time I cook a new recipe or an old favorite. So slowly step by step. Works well and has a great touch n feel user interface.

I enjoy having my recipes available when shopping and easy to find when planning meals.
  • Not my fav

Hopes the web capture would find the recipe text and plug it in, not taking a screen capture of my phone screen. Not a helpful feature.

I am in heaven with this app! I know a lot of folks said they had problems using the websites, but i just copy the ingredients and add as one note, then do the same with the directions (no need to worry about importing, linking, bookmarking, etc!). For the picture, I just take a quick screenshot to use, then after I change the pic to that I just delete the screenshot to keep my library from filling up.
