  • It consumed too much power

    By Eysure
It is a good cross-platform app for PDF viewing and editing, but when i use it on my iPad Pro, it consumed 26% power with 1.8hrs on-screen work, it is nearly twice of YouTube. It is the reason I give it only two stars.
  • Much better than iBooks

    By F1replace
After losing much data from using iBooks I discovered this app. Wish I knew about this app before I lost all my receipts on iBooks.
  • La mejor aplicación!

  • Plumbing the depths results in large nuggets of gold

The best PDF multi-device app available IMHO. Using with iPad Pro, X pHone, & MacBook. Ease of use and very responsive support for the times I’m too lazy to read the provided manual make this my most used app after the usual suspects like iMessage or Safari. Recommend.
  • Love this app

I use it to create and organize PDFs it is easy to create multi page PDFs and to merge PDFs together. It is very simple to use.
  • 3 Stars Generally

    By wcoonfer
I have been using this app for a couple of years, and share the sentiment that as features have been added in the basic ease-of-use has suffered. I know it could be a simple case of being comfortable with the way something works and not being comfortable with the implementation of additional steps to complete the same process. I have started not using it as much due to the slow-down.
  • Brightness of highlighting should be decreases

This is NOT a PDF editor. Using the same companies ‘scanner’ software to ‘scan’ (take a picture) of a document then paying another 3.99 to then ‘export’ that image as a PDF, then paying another 10 bucks to then open the document in the PDF editor, only to find out you can type OVER a letter or words. The 10 dollar software doesn’t overwrite the letter or words (what the rest of us call edit). As it stands not only does this software developer charge 10 bucks for what I can do FREE in windows it also falsely states you can ‘edit’ PDFs. You CAN NOT edit a PDF using this software. You can type over existing text, like in photo editor for free, but to actually edit, nope. I’ve never asked for a refund, but I may pursue my 10 bucks through my credit card company. This is really ridiculous to advertise ‘editing’ only to provide free tools like ‘mark up’ (highlighter) and strike through. The ‘scanner’ software is useless as well. It does basic OCR, not accurately, then does allo you to cut and paste the document. What they don’t mention is that ALL FORMATTING is lost. Seriously h e never seen something so very falsely represented. Providing ‘highlighting’ and ‘strike through’ is NOT editing. Refund me plz.
  • By far my favorite PDF editor

I have worked with quite a few PDF editing apps on both the Mac and iOS, and PDF expert, to me, is the best choice on IOS. While I still find PDFPen to be better on Mac (mainly because of its ability to OCR documents), PDF expert is far better on iOS. I work a lot with my Apple Pencil on PDF’s. I’m a college professor, and I regularly have students turn in papers in PDF format. I think mark them up with the pencil. I’m writing a lot of comments on papers, doing a lot more than just highlighting a few passages or circling key sections, and this app lets me do all of that easily and efficiently. Another strength is its ability (still useful after the introduction of the files app) to sync with a remote folder. This is very handy for editing and responding to a group fo papers stored in a Dropbox folder. The two things I wish this app could do are: 1) Perform OCR 2) Allow me to open up two windows on a particular document. It would be extraordinarily helpful, for example when reading a scholarly article, to be able to open one tab with the works cited or endnotes open and have another one open to the page I’m currently reading. I don’t know if there’s any iOS app other than Liquid Text which can do this now.
