  • Love traveling the world from my couch

    By plwheel
I work really hard and am super active, but when I want to chill, I don’t always want to watch tv. So I got to Dublin, Key West, Tokyo and if I’m feeling the need for drunk karaoke, the CST’s Meow. I’ve had the app for years and they keep adding cameras. Keep up the great work Earth Cam. You are truly connecting the world.
  • Awesome app

    By Jiffy_
Whether it’s storm coverage, or winter weather, or beautiful sunsets, this app is great. I get to take earthcam wherever I go. 👍👍
  • Online Option is much better

    By Raznikk
What’s the point of the app when there’s no sound but there is when watching online. I’m deleting this app.
  • Why pay?

    By AppleChucker
This rating has now LOWERED to 2 stars. Aside from the low number of cams (some FREE apps have many more cams and locales), WHERE IS THE VERSATILITY? I can do more with Earth Cams FREE on my PC web browser than I can PAYING for this app. Cannot pan or zoom. In fact, can’t even do the “pinch” zoom in/out technique while viewing the live feeds. That is, the live feeds that actually ARE live feeds. Still too many of the few cams that are either down, or that tell us to “enjoy a current picture/clip”. The sneaky method of removing the cams that are down from the lineup, seems to be intended to hide the fact that some of what we pay for, isn’t available. Finally. Comments. NOW THERE ARE FEWER COMMENTS. WHY? Does someone named Mark Z. own Earth Cams? If not, WHY promote a social media site - one known for its invasive, tracking and less than safe privacy antics - by REQUIRING your paid customers to use FACEBOOK to log into EarthCams in order to USE THE FULL SCOPE OF THE PRODUCT WE HAVE PAID TO USE?! I surely didn’t see that tidbit when I paid for the “premium” features. Are we supposed to be subject to having what cams we look at being a source of additional revenue for Earth Cams? So you can get those corporate bucks for letting the corporate world know what we are looking at? This should be a FUN app. Not something that is used to track what your “loyal customers” are up to. Too many tech sites (as well as ad blockers I have used) CONFIRM that even AFTER logging off of Facebook, it continues to track your web browsing and probably keystrokes, location, shopping, color of underwear, what you ate, etc (I only WISH those last few things were said farcically). Of course, it isn’t just EarthCam’s PAYING customers that you put at risk. There are also our friends and contacts, which Mark Z. has also engineered his site to “access”. So, EarthCams, your reviews are in a downward trend. What are you going to do? How about having your IT dept programming the app with a private EarthCam login. As in just a user name and password. Without all the other personal contact info. Identity theft and scam callers ARE a plague now, you know. Beyond that, we want to have some VARIETY. Some CONTROL. To pan. To zoom. To leave comments. To not pay and find out that we cannot have some fun using those tools to explore what we are looking at. It isn’t super easy, perhaps but in less time than it takes to jump through your hoops to pay and log into some other company’s site in order to use what we paid for on YOUR site, a person (prospective or FORMER customer) can find many more webcams online. That are free. That work. That allow us to pan. Zoom. Comment. FREE. CAPICE?! Finally, in the unlikely event this gets a “developer’s response”, please have the decency to make it an intelligent and proactive reply. Some of the ones I read were so disingenuous, that surely a “bot” or an otherwise diminutive staff person wrote. I’m looking for “thanks for paying with REAL money to fulfill YOUR part of the contract. Now here is what EARTHCAMS will do ASAP in order to give YOU, OUR VALUED CUSTOMER, REAL SOLUTIONS. Otherwise, the only valid cam you offer, will remain that which shows your (brand new?) headquarters. As if to say “Ha! Look what we did with your money, suckers”. Question. Did you save money on that by omitting the customer service offices from the building specs? So. Will we be able to give glowing 5-star reviews in the future? Or will we have to leave these less than stellar reviews and ultimately delete the app? I know we won’t get refunds. However, I’m sure you know that once a paying customer goes elsewhere, they rarely come back. So who will pay for your new building when THAT happens?! You got the ball. Let’s see what you do with it. Ciao!
  • Will not restore my purchases

    By cassglass321
All of my purchases have disappeared and when I tap restore purchases, it says no in app purchases. What is going on?
  • Great app!

    By Lori A Walter
I love this app and I love that you can see so many different beautiful places of the country. You see other pictures from other countries and it is just so wild to see those places since a lot of us can’t personally see those places. It is a great app to open when you are at work and just feel like you need to check out other places. It does enhance your desire to be somewhere else LOL but that is the only flaw with this app 😄❤️👍
  • Fun app

    By JohnnyJuicebox
I love checking out different places I have visited and places I would like to visit in the future. This app allows you to see many different landmarks in real time and it’s free.
  • Best app I have!

    By Natalierhay43
This app is so fun and entertaining! It truly deserves more then 5 stars!
  • NOT a free app

    By KongZheming
OK, three of the cams might be free but every other one you have to pay for. It’s a trick. This is not a free app. Either make people pay from the outset or make it a free app. Pick one.
  • Much needed UI improvement needs to come

    By Fly_guy
If you choose to view a cam in your “Likes”, the back button should not take you back to the “Network” view. It should take you only ONE step back
