  • Don't waste money EVERY YEAR

Loved the sanford guide in book form. But simply cannot get over the fact that the app charges 29.99 per year. And if you don't pay the next year all the content vanishes. Awful model for customer retention Other books and ebooks and even the ones that are continually updated once you buy them you own that edition Sadly not on Sanford Their response to this was because they don't want people to use outdated information. Firstly that is really not their responsibility and secondly Sanford is one of the many sources of information I would use to make clinical decisions and not the only one

Have been using Sanford since 2002 and would not consider working without it! Well worth the cost!
  • Essential for residency

I use this on a daily basis and really appreciate the easy to read color charts. I'm in pediatrics so my only suggestion would be improved pediatric indications/dosing.
  • Indispensable

Required for my NP program and for good reason. If you're going to prescribe you must have a way to remain current. It would be nice to see regional updates for topics such as STDs. In CA we use, at least some do, the CA STD Guidelines developed by the CA Prevention Training Center & the CA Dept of Public Health STD Control Branch. From what I've seen so far Sanford appears to match but I must assume this is not the case for all areas. Keep up the great work!
  • I use it about every other day

I love the drug dosing assistance and calculators. Helps me practice with confidence
  • Slow tables

The tables have been changed for the worse. Takes too long to scroll through the antibiotics and organisms. The filters are also tedious as well. Not sure why they have been made and not optimized to their previous standards. Otherwise great information as usual but one of the most handy features has certainly been hampered.
