My ten year old daughter loves the thrill of the time per problem being decreased. It definitely motivated her to solve them quicker. For my 6 year old son it was defeating. This was his first experience using a number pad so more time was needed to just find the correct number. This resulted in wrong or slow answers. Both took away his confidence. Is there any way for a parent to adjust the answer Tim so they start with more than 3 seconds?

First my son was excited, but as it became a contest it broke his confidence down and all I could do is watch him fall apart. Since when did we put our children in the path of destruction? At 7 years old math is supposed to be fun now I can see why many people hate math, I bought this app due to our school "tracking" students on it however I won't be using it and feel it's a huge waste of money. And I'm very disappointed that our schools feel that at 7 years old the pressure that my son endured on this app is acceptable, backed by people who are supposed to have the best interest of the child in mind and helpful for children who all learn at a different pace! Smh kids are in need of support not force.

I mean not bad but you should be able to change subject. At my summer school I'm in for fractions but all I've been doing is adding things like 8+5

This is a great app for my daughter to practice her math facts. One thing she would like is when the array of problems comes up that she needs to work on, if she could click on one of them and enter the answer.
