  • Worst UI in the history of technology!

Love Acorn Tv but have a lot of issues using it in my firestick. Even though I type in necessary Information it doesn’t open for me
  • Worthless

    By hiseyeisonthrsparrow
This app still works on my old IPad but not on my new one. Suggested “tips” for getting it to work didn’t and you can see by the update schedule that it isn’t likely to change soon. Wonderful content on Acorn and no way to get to it.
  • Great content...horrid app

If you like being bumped out of the show you are watching every 15 minutes, then Acorn TV app is for u. Seriously Acorn, I’ve paid you for a year subscription. The first couple of months were fabulous (except for your search options which need work) but now every.single.evening....while watching any show on Acorn (via my amazon fire stick) the show starts skipping and then throws you out of the show every 10 to 15 minutes. This is beyond ridiculous. Acorn TV....please fix or start refunding.
  • The App No Longer Works/Love the Content

It is very frustrating. Suddenly the app stopped working. I try to sign in and EVERY time it tells me that my email or password is wrong. I know this isn’t true because I am able to sign in on the website. This isn’t a deal breaker because I AM able to watch on my iPad, but I get irritated when something doesn’t work the way it is supposed to. I do love the shows that are available via Acorn or otherwise I would have given the app only 2 stars.
  • Terrible app

Company has no difficulty billing me every month for an app that does not work.
  • Will not open! Sporadic openings too!!

So frustrating and unless improvements are made to this app, I’m cancelling!
  • Acorn TV - the Worst in Apps

By Ready to slit my wrists
If you're looking for an app that will have you screaming and throwing your iPad at the TV, look no farther. This is it! I suspect that it was written by the programmer spouse of a suicide hotline counsellor who wasn't getting enough calls. Each version of the interface is worse that the one before, and the "customer support" is the service equivalent of a Happy Face sticker masquerading as a hernia truss. But the shows would be so great if you could actually see them!
  • This app is awful

I have not been able to use the app for the past 3 months. The whole point of having an app is to use it, not watch online. Technical help has not been very helpful. I have jumped through all their ‘solutioning’ hoops and still can’t get the app to work. Ready to cancel. Not even good shows are worth this.
  • Cannot log in on any iOS device

    By Dumbhead
First Acorn removed essential functionality (tracking progress on series, for example). Then the app stops working with iPads and iPhones. Then the app stops working with Apple TV. And through it all Acorn decides not to reach out to customers to describe the situation and their progress, and not to tell customers that their remaining option is to log in on web browser. So, self-created technical problems compounded by a poor customer service decision. I think Acorn is shooting itself in the foot. I wonder what will happen to # subscribers, and how many will take this as a signal to try Britbox. An addition to my review from a week ago. At that time Acorn sent me an email telling me they had reset my password and that the app would work with the reset password. It did not. I just received the exact same message. And exactly like before, nothing changes with the reset password. This feels a bit like like the Keystone Cops.
