Description

Over 21 million people have signed up for Bumble to start building valuable relationships, finding friends, and making empowered connections. Creating new connections has never been easier. Bumble is working to lift the stigma of online dating by employing unprecedented standards for respectful behavior. Because of this relentless dedication, millions of people are using Bumble to build valuable relationships every single day. DATE, MEET FRIENDS, NETWORK Bumble is at the forefront of matchmaking technology by providing an app that allows users to foster more than just romantic connections. The industry-leading app empowers users to swipe through potential connections across different modes: Bumble: On Bumble, women make the first move. We’ve changed the archaic rules of the dating game so that you can form meaningful relationships in a respectful way. Bumble BFF: Life is better with friends. Whether you’re new to a city or looking to expand your circle, Bumble BFF is the easiest way to make new friends. Bumble is the first app of its kind to bring dating, friend-finding, and career-building into a single social networking platform. CHANGING THE RULES OF THE GAME At Bumble, women make the first move. In heterosexual matches, the woman has 24 hours to make the first move and the man has 24 hours to respond. In same-sex matches, either person has 24 hours to make the first move, while the other individual has 24 hours to respond, or else, the connection expires. By prompting our users to be bold and make the first move we’ve seen over 3 billion messages sent to date. THE BUZZ IS REAL "Bumble exists to empower women..." (Fast Company) "Bumble is just an app: but it's changing the discussion." (Wired) "Bumble offers an alternative that prioritises meaningful connections, with women calling the shots:" (UK Sunday Times) "Bumble rejects hate speech to make users feel safe on its dating app" (Texas Standard) "What makes Bumble different from other dating apps...is its focus on giving women all the power. " (Business Insider) --- Bumble is free to download and use. • No matches after the first few days

I sign up for this app about once a year to see if anything changes with it. I’m a big fan of online dating, and have used all the big platforms. Going to be honest, I’d like to use Bumble but I’m not getting any matches. I got one my first week, but it didn’t lead to anything. I signed up for Tinder and OKC at the same time. I’ve received about 10 matches in each weekly, and far more likes. My profile is basically the same on all three, so what’s the issue? It’s got to be technical, because I’m getting plenty of bites on the other platforms. In fact, I can’t handle all the likes on them. I swipe way more on Bumble as well, only on girls I like. I could be a paying customer if this app worked, but I don’t even see potential matches coming up. So far, I like OKCupid the most, as I get matches that lead to real dates and conversations. Should I just give up with you guys?

Limited time using the app and setting up my profile and I'm already not impressed. Every time I try to edit my profile it either stalls and hangs or it opens up and is empty, or I start filling it in again only to have it reappear magically. And I get the need to validate people and know they are not a bot or a scammer, but it would be great to see another integration other than Facebook. Google, perhaps.

  • Millions of Fake accounts made to look real

Saw dozens of my friends who’s identity was stolen through Facebook location seemed legit but after asking and showing they felt violated that people were posting phony accounts with their photos and fake names. Then I get email saying my account was banned due to violent and abusive behavior and activity on the app. I would love to see evidence to understand what they’re talking about.

Pay a bunch of money to find matches. I’ve swiped through everyone in the 150 miles radius where I live and not a single match. Also fake profiles are easy to spot, usually lists a college with no bio filled out.
