  • Love the paper, hate the app

I prefer the web page view, which looks like a newspaper and makes it easy to see all the headlines and determine what I want to read. And it's slow.

I really appreciate the journalism of WAPO so I'm already happy with the content. The app seems decent enough. So thumbs up

Undoubtedly one of the best in the country.

Every once in awhile I get a freeze, hence four stars instead of five. That quibble aside, I love the app because the newspaper's content is as visually stimulating as intellectually satisfying. Wish everyone could be using it.

What a news app should be. Bezos buying them has paid off. Now if this so called liberal newspaper wasn't the employer of mostly conservative editors and op-ed writers.

I had to find a new source for news when Gannett bought my local paper and turned it into USA Today light. I love the in-depth reporting of the Post. First Class!
  • Why can't this app be fixed?

For a very long time this app has exhibited strange behavior that makes it hard to read articles. The quirks are mailing bugs in scrolling. Shouldn't they just start over and replace the app with one completely redesigned for scratch?

Worked fine before update, but now it won't login and the screen just stays stagnate after I put my login information (it lost the automatic login information with the update).
