  • Not a good app at the moment

    By MsTlynn
I don’t want to bash the app completely as i know it’s difficult to make apps. However this has to be one of the worse apps I have dealt with. It doesn’t load, it’s slow, and to me personally it’s not user friendly. The app is supposed to be a fundamental piece to the device however it just makes the device useless in my eyes. Before I downloaded I didn’t pay the low rating anymore because what might not work for you may work for me. Well let’s just say that I can see why now it was rated so low. Please fix so that the app and device are more enjoyable.
  • Sloooooow

The new app makes me want to return every piece of amazon equipment I bought.
  • Old version was much easier to use

    By gnshpgal
It was so intuitive and easy to pick and play music from the app without having to talk to Alexa, now that is all gone with the app update. I can’t control which song I want, on which device without getting stuck growing through loops trying to get it to play, and it’s impossible to find the volume control, sometimes it’s there sometimes it’s not. The older app version was much easier.
  • Latest update - R U Kidding Amazon?

    By Kim01234
Wow. Takes so long to open, the opposite of user friendly, the icon on the bottom right freezes the app entirely, I can’t find even the most basic settings I used to access before in the parts of the app that don’t freeze. Crazy how ANYONE at Amazon thought this version was passable. Makes me rethink buying into the Amazon device market. With all the negative experiences/reviews, you’d think they’d at least put the old version back while they fire the people that signed off on this version and hire a new team.
  • Could be better! Much better!

Garbage app. Very limited and not very intuitive and I am an engineer.
  • The latest update is miserable.

    By dav.mcdowell
In what seems like a trend with Amazon in general, the quality of the latest update is awful. It’s not intuitive, important options are hidden behind ugly design, and sometimes it plain doesn’t work. Leave it to a tech company to fail to recognize that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
  • Ehh

    By Kari.lynn.kay
Multi room music doesn’t work right. Randomly stops when using Spotify. Pandora works okay. I use my speakers for surround sound and I’m ready so buy a bookshelf speaker system.
  • Update is a disaster

    By Ed435627
Not sure it would be possible to engineer a more confusing user interface than this recent update. What a nightmare! Whoever approved this at Amazon really should be looking for a different career.
  • New app update is useless

    By Crazydiamond4d
I’ve been using this app for a long time and loved that I could tap into any of my echos and play music and such. Mostly used it for my toddlers room to play lullabies while he’s sleeping. I was able to easily turn it on/off and adjust the volume without being in the room....but now I can’t even access his rooms echo through this app. Occasionally I’ll get lucky and a bar will pop up saying his room is playing music and from there I can do what I need to do. However, times like this morning I literally can’t do anything. If I could go back to the old version I would. I already have great apps to adjust my hue lighting systems and nest. This app has become pointless.
  • Playback controls are gone

    By Lifewithbets
With the latest update the playback controls have disappeared (pause, back, forward, volume). I play music music in my sons room and before the update I was able to pause the music when he fell asleep without having to go in his room. Very disappointed
