  • Works Better update!

    The app works a lot better with Chromecast now than it did before. No freezing or stopping and starting all over again as it previously did. If this app continues to work better, I will subscribe to it and cancel my cable.

    Downloaded free App and subscribed to 1 month free of HBO. Now I can’t get the dam thing to play in my TV via Google Chrome-cast. I’ve followed all the trouble shooting steps and nothing. Good to know it was free upon initial subscription otherwise I’d be upset about paying for a product I can’t use as it states how it should work.
  • Needs iPhone X update!!

    I’ve been happy enough with the app, but on my iPhone X the white bar on the bottom of the screen does not fade away after a few seconds, like it does for other video apps that work with the new iPhone. It’s extremely annoying & I hope they update the app soon. Also, I wish there were a way to reset the shows previously watched. I’m re-watching the prior season of game of thrones, but because I’ve already watched it the app won’t take me to the latest episode I just watched. Again, annoying.

    This app is complete garbage. Why in the hell do people have such a difficult time programming tv apps. I’d be absolutely ashamed and embarrassed to have my name beside such an awful product

    Every time I try to watch a show, it's grainy or blurry, and cuts off telling me that it's playing in audio mode only because my internet connection isn't strong enough. I want my money back!!
  • Basically unusable on iPhone X

    A clunky app is made even worse on the iPhone X. Format is funky and program is unresponsive. Video cuts out constantly. Avoid. EDIT: a) I appreciate the response from the developer because it shows they are listening. Sadly it’s just a link to all the stuff anyone with a modicum of knowledge would have already tried. It’s clear the app isn’t ready for the iPhone X. For the amount of people paying monthly for this app I’d much rather get an app update so it is ready for the iPhone X.

    PLEASE FIX THE CONTINUE WATCHING FEATURE!!! IT WON'T GET OFF MY SCREEN! IT SAYS I AM IN THE MIDDLE OF A SHOW I NEVER STARTED. MEANWHILE I CANT FIND THE SHOW I AM ACTUALLY WATCHING! I CLICK EDIT AND DELETE AND SAVE AND IT STILL DOESN'T GO AWAY! WHAT A PIECE OF $&@$ FOR SUCH AN EXPENSIVE SERVICE!!!!! ------------ adding a star now that there is basic functionality like pause and rewind. still wish it knew where i left off on shows so i don't have to hunt and guess which episode i am on. ----------- how hard can it be to develop basic features like knowing where i left off in a series, pausing, rewinding, app not crashing? not worth the money!! i've cancelled my subscription. --------- Hulu and Netflix are such better user experiences, for much less money. mysterious errors, bad streaming, video stopping in the middle of a show. "continue watching" feature is completely broken. it tells me I'm only partway through shows that I have completed weeks ago. unnecessarily clutters the screen. I tried to turn off the continue watching feature but it still displays. also HBO Now does not keep track of where I am in a series. I can't pick up where I leave off. please try Netflix user experience for series. it is far more seamless. with HBO it is frustrating when I don't remember exactly which episode I saw, and I need to waste time watching again to find out where I left off.
