  • App is good but wish they would make a car version

I like the app and a group of use have used it for car rides. It works well and it was good to have everyone following the same route. Wrote to the developers about making a car version but never heard anything back. Maybe a toggle that would let you add a car instead of just motorcycles but then I am sure the diehards would hate it.
  • I want to like it...buuut

I just can’t. I live in Chicago, which is the 3rd largest metropolitan area in the US behind NYC and LA, yet the ‘community’ feature is a ghost town. Moreover, I’ve been unable to find a way to start my own group in the community, so I’ve just given up. Additionally, the navigation feature is a complete joke. It’s not always practical or safe to ride on some of the most heavily traveled freeways/interstates in the country at rush hour, yet REVER offers no options whatsoever in avoiding freeways or offering alternative route options. Even if they did, I wouldn’t use the platform for navigation purposes because it feels like taking a step back in time to the early gen 1 and 2 iPhone map feature. Save yourself the headache, download Waze, and move on with life.
  • Over Coded and Over Rated

I have been a premium Rever user for years. Over those years I have defended and recommended it to dozens, if not hundreds of people. No more. Why? 1. The folks at Rever used to be receptive to input. That is no longer the case and their tech support is lacking. 2. The app has been over coded to the point that it crashes, is slow to load, and loses data. 3. The turn-by-turn voice guidance is a joke. It’s just a lesser version of Google Maps. What is the point of adding that? 4. Premium members are subjected to being upsold to other Rever-sponsored products. Get a grip, guys. One reason we pay a premium price is so we don’t have to see that junk. It’s a real shame to see what this app has turned into. It’s like a painting that was great, but the artist wouldn’t stop painting until he ruined it. If it doesn’t get cleaned up before my subscription renewal comes up I’m out. I’d rather use my Garmin.
  • For me there were better options

I tried hard to use this app for the Mid Atlantic Back Country Discovery Route. I found it to be slow, clunky and with no positive feedback that I was using it properly. In the end I had no confidence that I would be able to successfully navigate with it - so I deleted it. I found another app that was free and includes some off-line maps, that was fast, and easy to use. Other people are successful with REVER - but I can’t figure out how.
  • Love it but app keeps crashing lately

Every time I either go to open the app or if I get last that to save a ride, the app crashes. Just did it 10 times in a row after being open for only a few seconds. It’s being doing this off and on for some time now. Leary of purchasing the full app thinking that too will crash.
  • Didn’t fully log in

App didn’t fully log in this morning. It showed my previous day’s trip. I ran 300+ km in the Alps and saved it as a second trip. When the app refreshed, I was fully logged in and only the first day’s trip remained. North orientation on the map did not follow when moving the map. Auto pause caused a large gap in my first trip.
  • Getting disappointed

The app worked well until the last update. I’ve just done 2000 miles trying to track and not once did the track work. Every time I looked at my phone again it was like it never started a track. Looking for alternatives
  • Worst motorcycle tracking app

I will start with when I first started to use the app in 3/2017 it was relatively flawless. It would track in and out of service and never crash. But that all changed when they started to pile on the updates shortly after I started to use it. After that it continually crashed in and out of cell service and would delete any current ride information. I have since switched to Scenic which runs 1000% better then REVER ever did.
  • Horrible

Horrible. App closes after period of time. I’ve lost several rides due to app closing for no reason. If you’re looking for something reliable to track rides, this isn’t it.

It seems like a good idea, I want to make it work, I keep trying but have finally decided that I can’t find the point. Maybe if you want to track where you’ve been it’s the thing but for mapping and planning it’s easier to use google maps. Maybe I’m missing some secret menu that has some innovation I can’t see....?
