I used to love this app and I recommended it to many friends. But since I upgraded my phone, it won’t register my pulse anymore. 😞

Apparently you get absolutely nothing without the $5 a month upgrade to pro.
  • Doesn't seem to work well with iPhone 7

I really loved this app... but it seemed to fall apart with the new phone I got recently. It's a shame... I hope the developers update it to work well with devices beyond iPhone 6s Plus :( If it didn't work so well before, I'd give this app a 1 star rating. Before I went to a 7+ I used this app everyday and it really helped me a lot with work stress and all that. Also, it helped greatly with my general concentration. On top of that, this meditation therapy also helped me significantly with my resting heart rate and blood pressure over the course of 8 months which has always been high for someone of my athleticism and healthy body weight. Please make it work better with the newer dual camera devices!

The app developers are making the world a better place by providing this free app. Update: I really appreciate the new features and redesign. I'm not a paying subscriber, but the Pro option isn't too intrusive. Still very happy to use this when I'm stressed!

**edit: removed a star because why would anyone think that deep dark piano was a good relaxing addition? Feels like a horror movie...** Overall it's good but there are a bunch of annoying things like: The sound to inhale/exhale is vague so you can't really close your eyes and get the same results (maybe they should have the typical bell/bowl sound option?) you can't turn off the music without turning off the inhale/exhale sound, which blends in with the music. The different heart rate values it measures your improvement on apparently don't improve just through better breathing & the tips don't help. Super frustrating. It limits your inhale/exhale rate & the number of breaths in each session, both very low. The measurements taken before & after are short so sometimes you may not be totally relaxed or settled. It has to be plugged in & occasionally crashes (possibly from overheating, which you'd expect). Still worth doing but would be better with a few fixes.
  • I use it 3 or 4 times a day.

This app is really cool. It lines up with your heart beat with just a flashlight. As dumb as I may sound I'm impressed it is very helpful
