Easy Music is the perfect initiation into the world of music, no theory required! It is a beautifully animated app to introduce kids aged 5+ to musicality. Children learn to recognize notes, pitch, rhythm, and melody in a nature-inspired game environment. An interactive sand castle serves as a musical playground where curious kids can experiment with various instruments, genres of music and objects freely to compose their first music piece. Before children learn the alphabet, they already know how to speak. To be effective, music instruction must follow the same natural progression. Kids should first learn to listen in order to learn how to play! “With Easy Music’s intuitive, non-theory approach, your child will have fun exploring an evocative world while mastering skills fundamental to both performance and enjoyment of music.” - Evan Fein, Ear Training Professor, New York FEATURES ● 4 enchanting worlds to recognize notes, pitch, rhythm, and melody ● 2 unique learning paths: Practice Mode or Compose Mode ● A fun rainbow piano to play familiar tunes ● Reviewed and approved by Ear Training Professor and Musician, Evan Fein ● Concept by musician and educator, Michael Emenau ● Up to 40 kids’ profiles from the same grown-ups account ● No Ads, No In App Purchases Also, children will be able to impress friends and family members by playing a few songs by ear on our rainbow piano! For these reasons, the app is the perfect way to ignite a curiosity about learning music and be prepared to play a new instrument. Ignite the music within! My two year old doesn't understand the game section, but he loves composing music! Great app. :)
  • Good when it works

I got this app on iPad after reading a magazine article. It was fun, and the kids liked it - my husband, a drummer, appreciated the way it approached tone and rhythm. But it crashed more than it worked, and when we downloaded it on our Apple TV, it has forced us to complete endless rhythm cycles before accessing the "compose" feature. The kids kept saying "let's go to the castle!" (The compose feature) But it would never appear.

We received this app for free from Starbucks, and THANK YOU STARBUCKS!!! My 3 year old is writing music, and he doesn't even know it! Let me tell you something else, my husband & I have both caught the other playing gleefully with the animals to create a song! Great colors, great graphics, great sound, it's a total win!
  • Fantastic App for students

Easy music is a great app to train the student's ear. In a bilingual/ International school it makes perfect sense to introduce music like a language and get the ear use to another variety of sounds. Easy music has an easy access and provides a window for learning differently. Students like it a lot, big hit !
  • Not so much

Definitely not user friendly. I spent several tries getting used to this, hoping it would be good for my grand babies. They're very smart, but I think it would take awhile for them to get any enjoyment out of this.
